04.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that we have officially rebranded from Nick Tiling Services to CommUnity Construction. Since launching in 2017 as a pioneering Australian social enterprise founded by refugees in the construction industry, Nick Tiling Services has gone from strength to strength. We continue to have big ambitions for growth, helping even more refugees build their lives and livelihoods as we build homes. Welcome to CommUnity Construction, a new brand and identity refl...ecting our expansion in services, geography, and social impact. From tiling, we are expanding to more services, including waterproofing, painting and cleaning. From NSW, we are expanding to Queensland and Victoria and eventually broader Australia. From training 63 refugees and asylum seekers to-date we aim to provide training to over 500 refugees a year across Australia. My team and I are driven by our passion to give back to the Australian community we all now call home. We chose the name CommUnity Construction because it reflects mutual respect between our workers and our clients and supporters. Just like the homes and spaces we help construct one tile and one coat of paint at a time, you help us build a place of support for the refugees we train, so they can become proud contributing members of the Australian community.
