We are pleased to be able to bring back the popular dinners for adults on the spectrum, resuming in March; (that is, unless another Covid outbreak forces us to change again). If you would like to come along, please book in. Due to restrictions in numbers, we may need to ask carers to sit upstairs at the club, to enable us to fit more people on the spectrum in the room. As usual, you will be able to order and pay for your own meal and drinks, meet others and have some fun together. Mon 1 March 6 pm at Club Rivers DUNGEONS & DRAGONS IS COMING TO ACN Starting March, ACN will be introducing a Dungeons & Dragons game online for the enjoyment of our members on the spectrum. It will run on the first and third Sunday each month on our website. Eventually, it would be great to arrange face to face games but this is the start. The games will be limited to 5 players each time to make sure they can fit in within a couple of hours. We will give priority to bookings who didn’t participate the previous time to make sure more people get a turn. Click on the online groups (purple button) on our website for full details. 01.01.2022 English conversation class today in the hub as well as via zoom. Thank you so much Ramya for the great lesson about shopping. It was great to see the confidence in our parents as they participated in the role play of going to the shops and ordering different items . While our parents are learning, their little ones are being cared for by the Educators from Mobile Minders. English conversation class is held every Tuesday morning in the Hub as well as via zoom from 9:30-11:00. At the moment our face to face class is full but you are more than welcome to join via zoom. Next year I am looking at two separate classes - one for Beginners and the other Intermediate. If you would like more information call Jane on 0448 251 911.
