16.01.2022 Norlane Community Kitchen 'Picnic in the Park'. Nothing stops Norlane Community Kitchen from enjoying our weekly session. Not even a public holiday or the likelihood of rain. We all had a good time especially the children and managed to pack up and leave before it rained.

12.01.2022 Today's menu was Mediteranean lamb traybake and lemon syrup cake. As usual we all worked well together and had fun while preparing and then eating a very delicious lunch. While lemons are in abundance we made use of them in both the mains and dessert today. As well as a variety of vegs in the traybake we also had brocollini and carrots as well. We halved the amount of sugar in the lemon syrup cake and also in the lemon syrup and we all thought the sweetness and tartness was just right. Dessert was served with yogurt which, I guess, is slightly healthier than other options.
