In the program, Year Two and Three students who lack confidence in their reading are once a week partnered with a pooch to act as a sympathetic and non-judgemental audience. Story Dogs now has 473 volunteer dog teams in 278 schools around Australia

15.01.2022 150 dog off-leash areas are now off-limits for pets and owners. However there are on-leash parks and areas + city walks where you can take your dog for exercise and a walk. The citys public outdoor gyms, skateparks, playgrounds, exercise equipment, basketball facilities, BMX tracks and barbecues are also closed. So are the citys pools and libraries.... These further measures have taken to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.
