13.01.2022 Congratulations to Angelina Green the newest apprentice at Miss Amelie. Angie graduated our LEAP Program at Albury High School last year with the intention of becoming a chef. She enrolled in the Kitchen Operations VET course as part of her plan. When it came time for us to organise a Work Placement for Angie, she already knew where she wanted to go. Angie approached David Kapay, Owner and Head Chef of fine dining restaurant Miss Amelie, and told him she wanted to learn from ...him. Angie impressed on Work Placement and was offered an apprenticeship by the end of the week. At LEAP we teach students the skills required to get and keep a job, how to demonstrate the right attitude and personality that makes them attractive to employers. Airlee has been placed in the Fitness Club at the centre for her work placement. Airlee has been learning how the gym works as well as assisting and participating in the different activities running at the centre.
