11.01.2022 Everyone loves leftover fruitcake but did you know it can be dangerous for your dog? Cheeky Oscar accidentally got into some fruitcake requiring treatment with us in hospital. Lucky for Oscar his mum realised what had happened and brought him down to us for prompt treatment. He was discharged today and expected to make a full recovery. Sultanas and grapes can cause kidney problems in dogs when ingested. We recommend against feeding these to your pet and calling us for further advice if they are accidentally ingested.
