06.01.2022 Words and Video by Casus very own superstar Kali Retallack. "Being held is important. The isolation I experienced during covid made me reflect upon the importance of touch and of feminine friendship. Platonic touch is so important and the ability to hold each other physically as well as mentally and emotionally ... I collaborated with Rhiannon Cave-Walker and Cecilia Martin to improvise in front of the camera what holding meant to us. It was very relaxed and natural and this is the end result." Thank you Kali for sharing this with us!

05.01.2022 The amazing Casus ensemble member Sarah McDougall has started a small business wile in Melbourne lock down and it’s wonderful. Check out her creations below! Christmas is soon so let forget amazon and support small businesses.

04.01.2022 As a 15 year old, the first circus show Ela Bartilimo saw was Knee Deep by Casus. At the time all four cast members at varying degrees helped shape her as a budding circus artist. To have Ela 8 years on, performing Knee Deep is a legacy and story we are proud to be part of. Continuing Ela's journey as an artist she is venturing into directing with her up and coming show 'We Are Aliens'. Support Brisbane's incredible independent circus scene and support Ela and co by purchasing your tickets for 'We are Aliens'. 04.01.2022 Exactly 9 years ago the very first day of development for Knee Deep happened and Casus Circus was born. It’s hard to believe but today we are still performing Knee Deep, this time with a new cast up in Townsville - wowing audiences and cracking a few eggs. Over the last 9 years we have toured 7 different shows to over 25 countries and we have much more in the works - there’s a team currently in France developing a new show Si’I in collaboration with the amazing contemporary ...dance company DK59. We also have 4 new shows in or about to start development. We couldn’t have gotten to this point without the help of a group of truly amazing people - working on and off the stage - you know who you are! We thank you from the bottom of our heart, with a special shout out to Cluster Arts! As we move into the future, as a company, Casus will continue to strive for inclusivity, diversity and lots of really cool tricks.
