24.01.2022 G'day Everyone, My name is Jack and I am the new apprentice here at CAC. You may have seen me on a Saturday here at the CAC hangar volunteering. I was born with a passion for flight and aviation and after working as a qualified automotive mechanic for the past 7 years I decided it was time to chase my dreams and passion to work in the aviation industry.... The first day I entered the hangar I was greeted by my all time favourite bird, the CAC-18 MK 22 P51-D Mustang. I instantly got goosebumps and it had my attention straight away as it was mid overhaul, in pieces. I grew up building plastic models of the P51 and have watched 'snifter' swoop over my parents house when I was a kid. Every time I heard the mighty Merlin engine roar over I'd rush out side to see it fly by. I feel very privileged and blessed to now be a part of the CAC team and am looking forward to see what the future holds. Thank you all for reading, Jack

19.01.2022 88 years ago today the first ever aircraft (Gypsy Moth) flew into Archerfield Airport and today that same aircraft flew back there after being restored for the past 30ish years. We here at CAC are honoured to be apart of this restoration and are very proud to see the Gypsy Moth back in the sky. Here is a short video of Ed Field talking to 7NEWS Brisbane at Archerfield Airport about his Gypsy Moth and the restoration. ... In the coming days we will post more photos of it.

18.01.2022 Today we pushed VH-FAG, named 'Freddie', out of the hangar for the last time so he could return home after being with us for the 15 past months. In this time the fabric on the fuselage was replaced and minor repairs were completed on the wings. We gave him a new colour scheme and the cockpit interior was refurbished. The engine was sent away for overhaul and a new wooden propeller was installed. We are very pleased with the way he has turned out and happy to see him up in th...e skies once again. Dave couldn't be here with us in person today so iPad Dave join us instead! Colin :)

03.01.2022 Hello fellow aircraft fanatics, Im Colin and I am the apprentice at Complete Aircraft Care. I have been tasked to help run our Facebook page along with Dave. My goal is to give regular updates on what is happening around our hangar and also around Caboolture Airfield as well. I look forward to sharing updates with you and I hope everyone enjoys it! Over the next few weeks, amongst everything else, I will be interviewing the team here at CAC and I will be putting up a brief b...io of everyone so you guys and gals can get to know us better. To be fair, I will go first! Name: Colin Position: 4th Year Apprentice How long working at CAC: 2 years 3 months Favourite Aircraft: de Havilland DH.80A Puss Moth Hobbies/Interests: My dog Apollo, rugby league (go the Cowboys) and playing music Background: I was born in Townsville and lived there until 2011, where I relocated to the Sunshine Coast. Predominantly working in hospitality since leaving school, I decided I wanted a career not just a job, so I commenced studies at Aviation Australia (Brisbane Campus) which gave me the theoretical knowledge to undertake an apprenticeship. I was told about Dave and Complete Aircraft Care from a relative whilst visiting them at Christmas time and decided to visit Dave and ask (beg) him for some work experience and possibly an apprenticeship. I must have been pretty good at begging because as they say, the rest is history (A very exciting one at that!)

03.01.2022 Lots of changes since these great pictures taken during our open day earlier this year. Thank you Aaron great pictures https://www.facebook.com/aaronsaircraftimages/posts/171267533480013

01.01.2022 Hello all, There are some exciting new changes happening at Complete Aircraft Care. If you have been to our hangar you would have noticed some visual changes to the outside. There are also even more exciting changes happening inside. Scott Burgess (Pictured) an Avionics Specialist has agreed to come on board as our Commercial Manager. Scotts new roll will include taking care of all customer correspondence allowing Dave Kingshott our Chief Engineer to focus on repairing ai...rcraft. We are hoping to extend Speedys paint shop to allow him to have more space to repair and paint aircraft. Colin has now finished his apprenticeship and is looking at furthering his studies from AME to LAME, his skill and attention to detail are a great asset in maintaining aircraft. Heidi, in the office is happy and willing to assist you with any enquiry you may have. These changes will aid in us becoming a ONE STOP SHOP. You may have seen our new brochures around. One thing that hasnt changed is our passion for aircraft from Ultra-lights, RAAus, Warbirds and all GA and our commitment to safety. We encourage you to give Scott a call and allow us to maintain your aircraft to an exceptional standard. 0437 716 577
