22.01.2022 Summer weather calls for one thing: WATER PLAY! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed learning about water-wise playtime as the weather heats up. Not only is water play a lot of fun, it also allows our kids to develop fine and gross motor skills through actions such as pouring, scrubbing, stirring and squeezing - and of course, learn about sustainably conserving this precious resource! Want to join in the fun? We're reopening on 29 January - find out more about enrolling your child here: http://bit.ly/30sQadR
22.01.2022 The staff and parents of Concord Occasional Care completed their CPR and first aid training on the weekend. Thankyou to all that attended and updated such important qualifications .
21.01.2022 We are happy to have reopened for care! Here at the centre the children have enjoyed returning, seeing friends and making new ones. It has been beautiful weather so the children have enjoyed playing outdoors, exploring the garden, nature and tactile activities such as sand and natural collage. Wonderful to see smiling faces filling our centre again!

19.01.2022 Here at Concord Occasional Care we have a unique set-up - rather than separate our children into age groups, all children are cared for as a collective group. Encouraging our children to play with others of different ages teaches them so much about cooperation and patience. And our older children love teaching the younger ones all they know! Want to join our community? We're happy to show you around when we reopen on 29 January! http://bit.ly/30sQadR
17.01.2022 Concord Occasional Care donated our cans to The Exodus Foundation this week. Thank you to our families for your efforts in donating and assisting us in supporting less fortunate families in our community. We are grateful to have been involved in this important community project.
17.01.2022 Concord Occasional Care is a flexible childcare option in Concord. The children are engaged and learn through play and exploration. Staff are qualified and committed to each child’s individual needs. We are delighted to have such wonderful families that come to our centre.
15.01.2022 To all of our parents, carers and wonderful supporters within our local community, Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to suspend Concord Occasional Care from close of business on Friday 3 April. While this decision is not an easy one, it is important that we protect the long-term employment of our dedicated staff and the longevity of our beautiful centre. ... Please note that if you are in need of care for your kids, we are open every day this week. We really look forward to welcoming our families back to our centre in the near future, so stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, stay safe and well Mel (Director Educator), Staff and the Management Committee of Concord Occasional Care

12.01.2022 Move over, Picasso! Painting is not only lots of fun, but extremely beneficial to a child's development. It encourages imaginative ideas to flow and even helps children develop better hand-eye coordination.
07.01.2022 At Concord Occasional Care we support and promote sustainable environments. We use resources in play situations that can be re used and recycled. This weeks program incorporated boxes and shredded paper. The children were able to use sensory, exploratory and creative skills using these items.
05.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas party! Not sure who had more fun - the kids or the parents!
05.01.2022 A very big thank you to Sydney Water for its generous community grant to help us provide our children with activities that encourage responsible living and sustainability. After our very fun 'Hatch 'n' Grow' program last year, we've used the remainder of our funding to add to our beautiful outdoor environment. We also purchased some fun textured plants for our indoor space and the children are enjoying these natural resources within their tactile play experiences. (Sydney Water)
04.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone for purchasing a bandanna to support Canteen.#bandannaday
04.01.2022 Singing and dancing to our favourite nursery rhymes is actually a powerful form of learning hand-eye coordination, how to follow directions, social skills, and even educational concepts such as numbers and colours. What is your favourite nursery rhyme?
01.01.2022 To the amazing mothers of our community - and to ALL mums. May you all feel the love today <3 #mothersday
