21.01.2022 Quick trip out to Waddington on Friday to install some cameras for a farmer. Our client wanted a couple of areas covered and didnt have any existing data cabling between the two areas. Rather than expensive trenching between these zones we used some point to point wireless links to consolidate the system back to a central point.... We were unable to run new cat cables for some of the cameras, to solve this problem we used some ip baluns to send the data signal across the older coax cabling. 02.01.2022 22 camera system for a client in Welshpool. We used 2.8mm 110 degree FOV Hikvision G1 Darkfighter Bullet Cameras. The advantage of the G1 bullet cameras in a commercial setting is the low light technology allowing for colour at night images when the area is well lit.... (This only works when the areas are lit up well. Darkfighter is not suitable for residential.) We leveraged exiting fiber links to connect cameras from the warehouses to the main office where the NVR was to be located. Two of the warehouses had no connectivity to the main office so we utilized some Ubiquiti wireless links to connect the areas. Although complex and challenging the job took us 3 days from start to finish with great support from the IT department and guys onsite.
