Faye Winch joins the team in the capacity of Accounts Administrator. She brings over 30 years of experience in the fields of Taxation, Management and Accounting, and is highly qualified - her achievements including a Bachelor of Accounting, Diploma of Management, Cert IV in Project Management and Certificate of Superannuation Manage...ment. Originally from Balranald, NSW, now living in Currimundi, Faye is a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer and also holds a Diploma of Deep Tissue Massage. She enjoys yoga, water sports and many outdoor activities including mountain climbing and walking her Red Heeler, Suzie. 23.01.2022 Gympie Regional Council Consultative Approach As part of our role on the Gympie CBD Revitalisation Strategy Project, Contour representatives Jeremy Piva and Paul Brennan attended a Gympie Regional Council meeting where plans for the CBD were discussed. This provided a great opportunity for Contour personnel to liaise directly with local Councillors and relevant executive team members, to discuss those strategies identified throughout our assessment and including within our ...detailed reporting. Contour has been involved on this project for in excess of 12 months, and during this period we have witnessed the extensive consultation processes undertaken by the Gympie Regional Council with respect to local residents, business owners and property owners. This is a very exciting project for the broader community and Council has been methodical in ensuring all relevant parties were kept informed, and consulted during the due diligence phase of this project.

23.01.2022 The Sheds at Brendale is a contemporary foodie facility, which will ultimately provide an outlet to boutique retailers in the heart of Brendale. Contour have great pride being apart of this innovative project, which will form a landmark development in this industrial area. Contour’s RPEQ Engineers undertook the design and supervision of the concrete footings, with the footings in a constrained position by old infrastructure and degraded pipework due to the demolition of the... old industrial sheds, and also undertook structural inspections of the portal frames, certifying product at the completion of works. 23.01.2022 New Team Member - Ben Evans Contour is pleased to announce that following its continued growth, Ben Evans joins the Contour team this month within our Civil Design section. Ben has extensive experience as a Senior Civil Designer, working on large projects throughout Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania and Papau New Guinea, both in the private sector and State Government.... Ben has significant experience in the modelling, design and drafting of all forms of property development and municipal infrastructure. We look forward to integrating Bens knowledge and experience into our civil engineering department. Ben has just recently become a father for the first time, and therefore has two new exciting chapters beginning in his life.

19.01.2022 Moreton Bay Regional Council Pro-Development Similar to the Sunshine Coast Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council has also been proactive with respect to infrastructure development throughout its region. Contour recently attended a Regional Major Projects Forum in Redcliffe, which highlighted the following facts about the Moreton Bay Region.... This region is one of the fastest growing urban areas in Australia; With 3,800 hectares of new greenfield and infill land ideal for new residential and commercial projects, this region is expected to grow by more than 40 per cent over the next 20 years; and An estimated 750 hectares of land has been identified for possible future enterprise and employment activities (industry and mixed business). The Moreton Bay Rail Link is an important part of Councils vision for the future and Contour has been working directly for Council on this project for the past six (6) months, and this working relationship is set to continue until December 2015. Contour is also working with a diverse project team on a proposed new Sports Complex for Council. We are utilising our extensive knowledge and experience on similar projects to deliver an optimised multi-use facility for the local community.

18.01.2022 Contour Commitment to Engineering Students The Directors of Contour have continued their commitment to give back to young aspiring engineers. For the 3rd consecutive year, Contour are sponsoring the Sunshine Coast University Engineering Bursary. Contours Executive Management team recently met the 2014 Bursary Recipient, Tim Burke. During this meeting Tim displayed the exceptional qualities that earned him this prestigious acknowledgement and we have no doubt that he has a ...very bright future ahead. Also, Contour can confirm that Joshua Madden a current UQ Bachelor of Engineering student will be undertaking three (3) months professional practice at Contour during the Christmas/New Year break. We look forward to fostering Joshuas interest in engineering, and providing suitable on the job training, educating and mentoring to enhance his future prospects.

16.01.2022 2015 Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific Charity Golf Day Contour is proud to be continuing its involvement with the Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific Charity Golf Day as both a major sponsor, and via the provision of marketing/administrative support. Rotary has confirmed that Careflight will be the beneficiary of the 2015 event. As a leading Australian charity, Careflight operate 11 medically equipped rescue helicopters and 2 air ambulance Learjets across 14 locations. Carefli...ght faithfully serves members of the general public at no cost to patients. The 2015 Charity Golf Day will be conducted at the Caloundra Golf Club on Friday 16 October 2015, and to date in excess of $35,000 in prizes have been confirmed for the day. Contour encourages our clients, referrers and suppliers to get on board with this event to assist Careflight, an iconic and much needed local charity. 15.01.2022 An Engineer dies and goes to Hell. Dissatisfied with the level of comfort, he starts designing and building improvements. After a while, Hell has air conditioning, flush toilets and escalators. The Engineer is a pretty popular guy. One day God calls and asks Satan, "So, how's it going down there?" Satan says, "Hey things are going great. We've got air conditioning and flush toilets and escalators, and there's no telling what this Engineer is going to come up with next."... God is horrified. "What? You've got an Engineer? That's a mistake - he should never have gone down there! You know all Engineers go to Heaven. Send him up here! " Satan says, "No way. I like having an Engineer on the staff. I'm keeping him." God says, "Send him up here or I'll sue." "Yeah, right," Satan laughs, "and where are you going to get a lawyer?"

06.01.2022 This week Unitywater confirmed that effective from 1 July 2021, all connection applications that involve non-trunk infrastructure for provision of services to future customers will only be assessed under the Unitywater Accreditation and Certification (A&C) System. The Unitywater A&C System has been operating successfully since appointing its first Accredited Entities and Registered Certifiers in March 2018. Contour is an Accredited Entity and we have a number of Registered M...ajor and Minor Certifiers. 01.01.2022 Sunshine Coast Council Proactive The Contour team would like to congratulate Sunshine Coast Council for its proactive approach to infrastructure management. We have just completed the provision of design services on the following infrastructure projects for Sunshine Coast Council: New Sealed Section of North Arm Yandina Creek Road;... Upgraded Amenities at Mooloolah Recreation Reserve; Upgraded Amenities at Bradman Avenue; Upgrades to the Lake Kawana Finishing Tower; and New BBQ Facilities at Coolum Beach. In addition, Contour is currently designing a new car park and access road at Nojoor Road, Twin Waters, for Council, which will support a new boat ramp abutting Maroochy River.
