22.01.2022 We get it, the week can be busy and you are not sure about the weather.. but remember, we will never send you out in unsuitable conditions, so don't wait until the end of the week to book..

21.01.2022 ? Happy Father's Day ! (and no thunder please!) As an update, it got really windy really fast at lunchtime, as predicted so if you missed out on a booking today, all good, no hires on the water now and we hope everyone is safe on the bay!

19.01.2022 Just the wake of the ferry breaking the calm water yesterday in the morning.. Every day is different on the bay, today it's back to strong (and cold!) Westerlies... Edit: at this point, westerlies actually warm..

18.01.2022 Get over to Coochie tomorrow! The weather looks great and we have just sampled a new BBQ truck that will be at the markets tomorrow. Pretty awesome! Special mention also for Oumm's yummiest Thai food and of course the classic Sausage Sizzle by the Coochie Men Shed crew .

17.01.2022 BBQ BOATS & TINNIE HIRES - no boat license needed. BEACH GEAR HIRE CLOSED until further notice. 2020 Year of disruption for everyone. ... First we had to close for months due to #covid19 and then were not able to operate our beach gear hire with the restrictions in place. Now, at the Coochie Boat Hire, we are currently facing an unrelated health issue that will necessitate surgery in December. For this reason: We are currently not open for kayaks and other beach gear on the beach and we will not take firm bookings or deposits for boat hires right now. --We will put your name down for a hire date, and get back to you once we know how things are going.-- Just give us a call, as usual. We know our clients will understand these are constraints out of our control and that as a small family business we just have to work around it.. and health comes first.
