The Pioneer Bungalow sleeps 12 (not 20), and we have two cabins that sleep 4 and 6 people. So indeed, we happily accommodate groups of up to 22 people and also have unlimited bush camping. Many parts of Australia.com are unaffected by fires and its business as usual. We urge people to continue to support our small towns and businesses whose livelihoods rely on tourism. There are still pristine, turquoise beaches, dolphins and sea lions to swim with, wildlife to meet in the wild, and tours that will take you to places rarely visit...ed by the public. There are unique and delicious foods and wines to taste. Please share this information far and wide so people continue to visit Eyre Peninsula and South Australia for their holidays. If you are planning an overseas trip this year, please dont let this situation deter you, let it inspire you to visit us because that is what #Australia needs to get us back on our feet. The heartbreak we are feeling right now is simply beyond words. With fires continuing to burn in some parts of Australia, we are looking to our friends, industry peers and past customers for help, especially those abroad. Our thoughts are with all the people affected by the fires around the country, all the heroes on the front lines fighting the fires, rescuing and caring for injured wildlife and assisting people who have lost everything. With so many organisations fundraising, it can be overwhelming, so we chose to feature these two places to donate to assist Australian firefighters and wildlife through the bushfire crisis: You can support our volunteer firefighters, and the families of firefighters who have passed, at CFS Foundation. And please support the wildlife emergency rescue, rehabilitation, restoration and conservation efforts at Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - Kangaroo Island, right here in our backyard. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far - we are all grateful for your support and appreciate your love. We still have a long fire season ahead and our fireys and animals need us as much as we need them.

If youre up for a swim with these gorgeous puppy dogs of the sea and going on the ultimate road trip, make sure you enter the Nullarbor Traveller by Australian Wildlife Adventures giveaway! See the comments for the link ;) Travellers to the Eyre Peninsulas wild west will tell you it is uncrowded, untouched and unbelievable. With natural landmarks such as the stunning Murphys Hays...tacks and Talia Caves nearby, you can also hop in for a dip with wild Australian sea lions and dolphins just down the road at Baird Bay! 01.01.2022 ONE FOR THE DUTCHIES Our 25th tourism intern from Breda University in The Netherlands has just left, and for the first time in 13 years, we dont have another coming to take her place! Sometimes we have to agonise over several applicants. Is it the end of an era? We hope not! Was it the pre-interview requirements for entry - stroopwafels and pepernoten? Surely not! The "Dutchies" as they are affectionately known, have been a huge part of family life at Coodlie Park for 13 ye...ars. For those that have stayed, you know how important you have been. Not only for the work you did at Coodlie Park and Australian Wildlife Adventures, but every one of you left us with happy memories and became an important part of our lives. Congratulations to those of you who discovered the carrot trees, managed to beat me in Sequence and got on top of the office work. Good luck! Thanks for sharing my half-eaten lollies and looking after Maggie and Mia. There are far too many amazing times to mention, and wed love you all to share a photo and reminisce about your most memorable story. Who knows, maybe it will help us attract Dutchie #26 this September. We hoped you enjoyed being a part of our united nations evening meal every night with whoever else pops in. Can you imagine how hard it will be for me to cook for only two people? To all those that have shared our house and our life Jo and I thank you so much for being a part of our family!
