25.01.2022 Pop in and take a look at the terrific art work. Many of our students featured.

23.01.2022 Our last post from our End of Year Celebration Assembly is our choir, led by Mrs Matic, singing the Jingle Bell Rock Medley. Even though our end of year assembly may have looked a little different in 2020, we hope you all enjoyed our posts and we thank you for your support. We hope the posts over the last few days have showcased the hard work, fun and skills our students have at Cooee Primary School. Thanks again and Merry Christmas all.

22.01.2022 Prep ran the last race for the afternoon. They did a fantastic job! A big thank you to Ms Evans and the Grade 6 students who organised the event. A terrific afternoon!

22.01.2022 Good morning. The CAM 2 1/2 Cross Country has been postponed due to the forecast of rain. We will run the event tomorrow in the same format. A reminder that our students need to run in their school polo tops with shorts, tights or track pants. A change of clothes and footwear should be packed in case it is wet underfoot. We are sorry but parents and spectators cannot attend this event this year.

21.01.2022 Grade One ran very fast today in their Cross Country race. What fun!

20.01.2022 SWIMMING REMINDER: Tomorrow at swimming students from Grade 3 to 6 will need to bring clothes for Water Safety Day. The majority will need shorts and a T shirt to swim in. A few children will be asked by their swim teacher to bring a long sleeve top and long trousers instead, usually this will be their winter PJ’s.

19.01.2022 Today we marked Remembrance Day with our SRC leaders presenting an Assembly to our school. Student Leaders also represented our school at the service in Burnie. Well done to everyone involved.

15.01.2022 Hello everyone. We hope your holidays have been restful and happy. We are looking forward to catching up with you tomorrow at our Book Sales and Levy Payment day. We have made several changes this year to ensure the day runs smoothly and meets COVID protocols. Families should attend at the following times:... Surnames starting with A-M 9.00- 12.00pm Surnames starting with N-Z from 1.00 - 4.00pm. Please only send one adult per family and only bring your children into the school if they need to be sized for uniform or if they are feeling a little anxious and need to take a quick look at their classroom. Children are welcome to play outside and wait for you. All visitors must enter our building via the Library and use the sanitiser provided. Please read the COVID questionnaire attached and do not attend if you cannot answer the questions correctly. You will be asked if you have read the information as you enter. If you are unwell or unable to attend, please phone the school to make further arrangements. Please bring along your signed validation form, major excursion/aquatic form and the special data collection form which we have posted to you. ( Please double check these as it is easy to miss items). This will be checked in the Library by Mrs Barnard. You will then continue through our corridor to collect or purchase uniform, to collect you child’s book pack and finally to Mrs Groenewege at the front office to complete any payments. We hope you will find this way a little easier. I will be available all day if you have any queries or concerns, or just want to pop in for a chat. See you tomorrow Kind regards, Marcelle

11.01.2022 Grade 6 have had two fantastic days out and about, enjoying their end of year camp. Big thanks to Mr King and all staff involved for organising this opportunity.

07.01.2022 A photo to start your weekend with a smile. We looked up to see BHS students walking their farm goat George down on a lead for a visit on Friday afternoon. Our Prep students were delighted!

07.01.2022 Our Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students had a terrific time attending the BHS performance today. Congratulations to the Drama students, an amazing performance.
