17.01.2022 A fantastic morning of rugby yesterday. Our U6’s are finding their groove while the U8’s are mastering the art of tackling.

16.01.2022 So many wonderful reports this week. Make sure you check them out on your Team App team page. Here’s the U9 Black report to get you started. A warm afternoon greeted the Seahorses today for a good even game of rugby against the Wallaroo Breakers. From the kickoff to the final siren, you could probably say it was the best game of the season with clean end to end rugby. It was clear that the boys had been listening at training with a marked improvement at the breakdown winning... many a ball against the run of play. The teamwork was impressive today with many off loads and multiple phase plays which led to some great tries. The game was tied at 6 tries a piece at half time and the boys were asked to lift for the 2nd half concentrating on their line defence. We went down in a close finish 12 tries to 10, yet the team should hold their heads high putting on a good display of running rugby. Special mention has to go to Kai for 8 amazing try saving tackles and Brandon for 5 strong tries. Alex was awarded the player of the match with some great work around the ruck and his first ever try in rugby. Thanks again to the coaches Rob and Chris for their encouraging words on the paddock and work on the sidelines by manager Katrina.

16.01.2022 Our weekly U8 Green instalment. Enjoy!

12.01.2022 U9 White Match Report 22/8 A few withdrawals, due to illness for the Whites which led to some Blacks players stepping up to help out. Special thanks to James, Ben and Rion. (We wish Emily, Ally and Ollie a speedy recovery). An exciting start to the game with some excellent Whites counter rucking from Sean and Co leading to a Harrison break and Evie’s opening TRY! The 1st quarter of the game was fairly even with Coogee showing determination and desperation.... Our Whites, newly sewn together team, was eventually picked apart by a very strong Bays outfit. By the end of the game they just seemed stronger, faster and showed better body height at the breakdown. Our players never gave up and, for that, we were all very proud. Some huge tackles today from Ashton and Evie. Barnstorming runs from Harrison and Archie. Nifty, darting runs from Daniel, Fergus and Louis. Whilst Peter and Will contributed outstanding Pick & Go tries early in the game. Lewis too was wholehearted and claimed a consolation 2nd half try from the scrum. Thanks to Cam for his big efforts coaching today, as well as Jimmy and Helen’s tirelesstireless contributions too. Finally, well done on the team song. being sung with greater and greater gusto each week.

11.01.2022 Save the date. Notice of our 2020 AGM. Please RSVP via email if you wish to attend. 30 people Max. Hope to see you there.

08.01.2022 Check out our U9 White Match report and find all team reports on your TeamApp page. After a wild and windy Friday night in Sydney the sun came out for a blistering rugby match on Saturday between the Coogee Whites and the Maroubra Missiles. From the very begining with Archies first run with the ball supported by Evie and Peter the game looked to be contest of wills and attrition. The Whites were engaged in a physical battle with every ruck and scrum as both teams hit hard a...nd played tough. Ashton crossed in the right corner for the first try of the game supported by Daniel and Emily. This was quickly followed up Lewis bagging the seond try minutes after. Louis, Ollie and Fergus dug deep in the breakdowns with Sean, Evie and Will driving forward at every opportunity. Maroubra quickly equalized the game with 2 trys a piece to end the 1st half in a draw. The second half started with a line out with Evie, Harry and Ally all getting great runs with the try line firmly in there sights. Maroubra pulled ahead with 3rd try followed by Lewis hitting back with a 3rd for the Whites and his second of the game in the right corner. This was a really physical and ferocious game with the Missiles and there Little General Coach securing the win. The Whites played brilliantly as a team buliding on their skills and techniques each week. See more

02.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to all our seahorses dads. Thank you for all you do!!

01.01.2022 Happy Monday. Another great weekend of rugby! Under 7 Green’s match report. Round 6 A stunning winters sun greeted us as we took to the pitch today, closely followed by the Clovelly Whites that looked more like an U8 sized team.... Clovelly took first blood after the kick off, with Brodie getting over the line first for the Greens shortly after. Clovelly fought back and it was try for try thereafter, with beautiful runaways from Darcy, Getty and Lennon getting points on the board before half time. Half time inspiration from Coach Nick focussed around running forward, forming a good defensive wall, and not fighting over the ball. Working as a team is key! Clovelly started with the ball in the second half, and scored shortly afterwards. Then, as per the first half it was nearly a try for try for the next 15 minutes, with Darcy and Lennon finding the line and the final two Green tries for Dexter. The three H’s Henry, Harry & Hamish had a couple of stellar breakout runs, unlucky not to find the line, while Brynn made excellent impact when he got his hands on the ball. We were pipped at the post on the scoreboard, but the boys did an excellent job. A well deserved player of the match to Getty who can score tries, put on a great defence, and is one of the best team players on the field all with a cast on one arm. Awesome effort Getty!
