25.01.2022 Bunuru has found her new home at Hillman Primary School Bunuru came to life after being painted by the legendary KevvyBynders Art (with a little help from you all) over the Coogee Live weekend. Bunuru in Noongar means the Second Summer (Feb March) and is also known as the Season of Adolescence. The Big Splash Dolphins are all about shining a light on child and adolescent mental health which made this the perfect name! Taking place in the Live_Lighter Omeo Hub across both days of the event, Kevin was live painting the dolphin with help from festival-goers.
