24.01.2022 NEW PROJECT || We're pleased to be teaming up with Dash Architects, Meinhardt Group, and SA Infrastructure and Transport to deliver a $9.2m project at Mount Compass Area School consisting of 4 new buildings - Art & Technology, Home Economics, General Learning Area, and Administration. Department for Education, South Australia

24.01.2022 NEW PROJECT || Cook Building is excited to have been awarded Playford College Stage 1 & 2 of the Master Plan. This new two storey project will provide incredible learning spaces for STEM, Home Economics, General Learning Areas, and Breakout for the students. We look forward to starting a new working relationship with Playford College and continuing our working relationship with the consultant group Phillips / Pilkington Architects, BESTEC and CPR Engineers

22.01.2022 PROJECT COMPLETE || Stage 2 of works at Mount Barker Waldorf School saw the refurbishment and extension of an existing art building, featuring a brand new radial sawn timber cladding exterior and a spotted gum timber outdoor area. New joinery and furniture units were installed, and all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components were upgraded to suit the needs of the new building. Works were carried out during the school period so staff and student safety was paramount - ...the Cook Building team ensured effective controls were in place and regular audits were performed to make sure the correct safety practices were adhered to. 22.01.2022 PROJECT COMPLETE || Working closely with Insite Architects, Polygon Landscape Architects, and TMK Consulting Engineers, Cook Building have recently completed works at the Nido Early School, Fulham. Construction included multiple learning spaces, a commercial kitchen, a large outdoor play area and a front car park suitable for up to 62 kids and staff. Aaron Citti Photography

20.01.2022 NEW PROJECT || We are thrilled to be collaborating with Matthews Architects, WSP, BESTEC and SA Infrastructure and Transport to deliver the redevelopment project at Urrbrae Agricultural High School! The $6.9m project includes the refurbishment of the existing gymnasium, as well as 2 brand new learning spaces; a Health & Wellbeing building and a Year 7 & Music building, and additional landscaping.

19.01.2022 NEW PROJECT || Cook Building have been awarded the Suneden Specialist School Stage 2 refurbishment and new build works. The project will be completed over 3 separate stages, and will provide new general learning areas, administration facilities, dining room, art and sensory rooms, and outdoor learning areas for children with intellectual and physical disabilities, aged 5-21 years.

18.01.2022 A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all who participated in Cook Building’s Charity Golf Day! The day was a great success, and more importantly, the event raised $5.9k for Heart Research Australia Also a big thank you to West Lakes Golf Club for hosting us on the day!

14.01.2022 Highway Development Stage 2 brought about the completion of a 28-apartment complex, 7 townhouses, an ALDI Supermarket, a 10,000m2 carpark, as well as the upgrade of 2 major DPTI-owned roads. Hear what it was like working with Cook Building from our project partners below: Dorky

11.01.2022 PROJECT COMPLETE || Cook Building have recently delivered a refurbishment project at St Joseph’s School, Kingswood. Originally a c.1914 parish of solid brick, the building was reclaimed to create x3 General Learning Areas, a new reception space, a staff room with kitchen, as well a revamped courtyard fit with a custom-made arbour. 01.01.2022 NEW PROJECT || Cook Building have recently commenced the construction of eight 2-bedroom homes; the site on Days Road has a fantastic history and was gifted to Uniting SA by the Days Road Gospel Mission. The project will provide housing for women at risk of homelessness. Due for completion in June 2021!
