He found a determination and strength of character. As a baby, Codes was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, yet despite this, or more likely because of this, Codes has an amazing "Cant stop me attitude." From winning Div 1 soccer grand finals, jet ski riding to surf lifesaving nothing stops Codes from achieving his goals. As an apprentice carpenter in his parents building company, Cody possesses a great love for his family, his girlfriend Zoe and his surf lifesaving club. Everyone should #belikebilly krackasurfcraftaustralia We are guessing that there are some people that may be questioning what your training for right now when our competition season may be delayed and some competitions cancelled. Ask 86 year old Billy Ryan from Coolangatta what he thinks of why we train.... Billy trains everyday on average doing 2 sometimes 3 sessions each day. A typical day in Billys life would be a board paddle from Coolangatta to North Kirra followed by a 2.5km beach run, then board paddle back to Coolangatta again. Throw in a gym session sometimes a 15km bike ride from Coolangatta to Currumbin or a slow sand run or pool session.Keep training because you want to keep your mind healthy , keep training because you want to improve, be stronger and get better at what you do. Keep training because you want to be ready for a season whatever that is going to look like.
