14.01.2022 We are sorry, but we will have to stop taking orders for Christmas. Knowing there is not much prawn around at present, we will be pushing to fill the orders we... have, but we will definitely be doing our best. We cannot make the prawn appear unfortunately & are reliant on the weather. We hope to be running the seafood van again on Saturday 12th December with the last nights catch fresh & again hopefully before Christmas, weather permitting of course. Keep an eye on our fb page for updates. Thank you & we hope you all understand, from John & Amanda See more

11.01.2022 It is with sadness we announce that the Burnett River Dragons will not be returning to the water. Due to low numbers and ongoing difficulties recruiting new mem...bers, we are closing the club. A lot of work is happening behind the scenes to ensure everything is happening as it should (Dragons check your emails for details). I would like to send a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to the club; members (past and present), supporters, boat towers, sweeps, coaches, committee members, sponsors, purchasers of raffle tickets and sausage sizzlers....you have kept us going for a very long time. Thank you to all the Wide Bay Dragon Boat Clubs, Dragons Abreast Australia, and Dragon Boat Queensland / DBQ for the unwavering support and friendships. Once the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted, we are planning a hurrah - keep an eye on your emails and this page for details. Keep roaring dragons
