20.01.2022 What's coming up next for the Coolum Theatre Players?? A fun and zany original comedy DR LURVE AND THE SYRINGE OF SHAME - written and directed by Lisa and Kevin Blair. Set in a hospital, this panto-style comedy is jam packed with crazy over-the-top colourful characters, song and dance, corny jokes and audience interaction. There's something for everyone!... Come along to the INFO NIGHT on Monday March 25th to find out more. 13.01.2022 So much has been going on at Coolum Civic Centre recently . * The centre has just had new coat of paint on the inside and looks FANTASTIC!!. * We were successful in our grant submission and the centre now has a new projector - that can be operated from the side of the stage and connects with the existing audio system. Thank you to Sunshine Coast Regional Council's Grants Program.... * We were also successful in our grant submission for the installation of a defibrillator at the centre. This has now been installed. Thanks again to Sunshine Coast Regional Council's Grants Program. There are a diverse array of groups that utilise the centre, The defibrillator will provide some peace of mind knowing one is close by, if ever required. The groups will also be able to utilise the projector, with suggestions coming for movie nights, sporting performance reviews, presentation nights and so much more.
