23.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. 21.01.2022 Today we remember those whose lives were lost in the C-130 Hercules Large Air Tanker, Bomber 134, when their water bomber crashed while fighting a bushfire at P...eak View, north-east of Cooma, on 23 January 2020. Captain Ian McBeth, first officer Paul Hudson and flight engineer Rick DeMorgan Jr were experienced American aerial firefighting pilots assisting with an unprecedented fire season. 03.01.2022 Anyone in the agriculture sector will all be too aware but it is nice to see that it is being being formally recognised that the Monaro is still in severe drought even though other areas have experienced relief. This drought was well in place before bushfires, storms and Covid-19 and is now one of the very worst EVER experienced on the Monaro - yet seems to have fallen off the radar with all levels of Government. Lets hope that some more substantial support is thrown at this sector very soon!

01.01.2022 Another traffic incident.... expect delays and drive safely.
