Standing in a computer store recently and a customer brought in his brand new Iphone with a smashed screen. The store technician quoted $220 and the guy had no choice but to pay. 24.01.2022 Free Unlimited Online Photo and Video Storage If you were anything like us, you'd have photos coming out your ears, on old laptops or computers, old phones, portable hard drives etc. Consolidate all of your photos in one place and don't worry about losing them. Ever!! (Well mostly ever) There are a few different options when it comes to online storage. We use Google Photos because it's easy to use and you can store unlimited photos and videos whether you use a PC/Android or A...pple device. You will need a Google account which you already have if you use gmail or have an Android phone. Now whenever we take photos on our phones, the photos are automatically uploaded to our Google Photos account. We're also able to access our photos from any computer or device, anytime as long as there is an internet connection. There is a catch that in order to have unlimited storage, Google will reduce the file size of your photos but in saying that, the quality is still quite high. I've pasted an example below. 23.01.2022 Do you use a portable hard drive???? I get so many calls from people who have all of their photos, work documents or University/School assignments saved onto a portable hard drive or USB stick and the drive or stick has FAILED. I had one customer who lost all of the photos of their late spouse on a failed portable hard drive. The drive can be replaced under warranty but the photos can't. The cost for recovery of a failed hard drive can go up to a few thousand dollars dependi...ng on the fault. Make sure you have a reliable backup in place and DON'T rely solely on a portable hard drive. Although I don't recommend storing your electronic equipment underwater, if you do drop your phone into water, remember to take the battery out straight away and then drop it in a bag of rice (uncooked!!!) Wait for 1-2 days and hopefully you'll have a working phone at the end.

09.01.2022 Another happy customer with a home studio PC that was running very slowly and needing a refresh. After adding a new SSD drive, the PC has a new lease of life and is running better than before.

05.01.2022 So what do you think of the new Pokemon Go game? It's been a hit with our seven year old boy. I work in the city and during my daily walks between jobs, I'm able to collect Pokemon for him. At the end of the day my son checks out our growing Pokemon. In the evenings and on the weekend, we can head out together walking and driving to play together on my phone. We've also noticed lots of kids are out and about in our estate.
