Commonwealth Financial Counselling helps eligible people address their financial problems through the provision of information, advocacy and/or negotiation on behalf of the customer. ... It also aims to help people build longer term budgeting capabilities, better manage their money and make informed financial decisions. Eligibility is restricted to people unable to pay their bills or at imminent risk of not being able to do so. This service is available to eligible persons throughout the Wide Bay-Burnett region. Our first free breakfast for those in need is this Wednesday 3rd February between 7:00am and 8:30am at 30 Tantitha St (Bundaberg). Free haircuts will also be available on the morning thanks to Roots Hair Company and free oral health care packages on offer thanks to Coral Coast Dental.

21.01.2022 ***Please note- due to the concerns around the Coronavirus, The Breakfast Stop has been cancelled for April. We will make a decision about future Breakfast Stop dates on a month-by-month basis. *** On the first Wednesday of each month we partner with the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) to provide breakfast for those in need. From 7:00am 8:00am in the RHL carpark a team of support workers from RHL attend each breakfast ready to listen, talk and connect with people, offering free information, advice and referrals where requested. 20.01.2022 The last Breakfast Stop for 2017 is being held this Wednesday, 6th December from 7:00am 8:00am. You can find the Rapid Relief Team Bundaberg cooking up bacon and egg muffins. There is also fresh fruit and hot and cold drinks available. All food and drink is available at no cost. You can find The Breakfast Stop in the RHL Office Carpark, 30 Tantitha Street, Bundaberg. We will be able to assist clients by collecting their pre-paid medication from the chemist or pre-paid groceries and will provide a knock and drop delivery service to the clients door. It is an outstanding achievement to be recognised by the Bundaberg business community for the positive impact RHL has in the local region.
