20.01.2022 Coomera Waters Marina are very grateful to the volunteers at Wasp Creek Rural Fire Brigade for your fast response on Saturday as we noticed a vessel sinking and taking on water. The team at Wasp Creek Rural Fire Brigade were fast to act, they had the generator on site pumping out the excess water from the vessel. They sectioned the area using the spill kits on site and connected multiple oil and fuel absorbent marine booms. This segregated and contained the pollutants with on...e of the main focuses of protecting the marine environment. The boat has now been safely removed from site. Thanks again to the wonderful volunteers for your time and dedication, you did an incredible job!
