23.01.2022 The Docklands is the perfect place from which to commute by bike or eBike. Drop into Good Cycles Docklands Hub to talk all things bikes, and for parts, accessories, repairs and advice. eBikes are a rising trend for getting around our cities. Here is a great article on how to get the most out of your eBike when you’re out and about http://ow.ly/gLoK50ERV45

23.01.2022 Next time you are berthed next to one of these in the marina, and curious about your neighbor...

19.01.2022 A maritime museum in Docklands? We’re one step closer. On Tuesday night council voted to proceed with a feasibility and business case study on developing a museum, with the possibility of this being located at the Mission to Seafarers. 17.01.2022 Local resident keeping a lookout for wildlife at our Yarra’s Edge Marina. Must be a great spot for fishing. https://twitter.com/keithkaren1/status/1301746770527924225

16.01.2022 Interesting to know what’s happening with our neighbours.

12.01.2022 Say Ciao! To the first ever Arcadia Sherpa to arrive in Australia. She has become a source of interest for all walking along the promenade. Ciao! is a one-off design, unique and has a true pieds dans l’eau (home on water) terrace https://oceanmagazine.com.au/homeward-bound/

12.01.2022 A story of love and creating your own freedom. Check out Merv and Robyn’s beautiful hand crafted boat, designed and built by Merv with sailing as a family in mind. They have been docked at Yarra’s Edge Marina and spending some time enjoying and touring Melbourne City. The boat, aptly named Degrees of Freedom, was initially built with a dream of being somewhere else. Both feel fortunate to have lived a fantastic life, sharing a passion for travelling the world and spending time together. On the day we spoke with them, Merv and Robyn were celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary. They are now both retired, and not only have loads of memories on their beautiful boat, but also look forward to the future. It seems a meticulous DIY project goes a long way to having the freedom to do what you love. Safe travels!

11.01.2022 Great to see today.

08.01.2022 Looks like this photo could have been taken from the East arm of the marina.

08.01.2022 Wow, what an incredible pic of beautiful Docklands.

07.01.2022 Did you know that boating is considered exercise? As we’ve continued to exercise during lockdown your boat hasn’t and it may have been putting on some unwanted growth. Now is a great time to get your boat ship shape and ready for the upcoming season. Vessel safety inspections can now be completed by marine and specialist mechanics. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the water!
