24.01.2022 Good morning all! Unfortunately we will not be open today -- Friday February 1 -- as we have some family medical needs to take care of in Dubbo. We will be back on deck on Monday at 9.30am, as usual!... (Basically our son who broke his arm on the first day of the holidays is finally getting his cast off at Dubbo Hospital. All good!)

23.01.2022 Is this your business? Talk to us if you want to make that change. Certainly a lot cheaper through us than the story claims too! https://au.godaddy.com//study-reveals-why-59-of-australi/

23.01.2022 Coonabarabran (if youre in the right part) is entirely FTTN NBN.

23.01.2022 Scams are everywhere at the moment, heres a few tips on how to avoid this one:

23.01.2022 In the current situation and with our specific family needs, we have decided the following. We will be: OPEN VIA APPOINTMENT ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE EITHER EMAIL THE SHOP AT [email protected] ,... MESSAGE OUR FACEBOOK PAGE OR MESSAGE 0422981199 FOR AN APPOINTMENT ALL PHOTOS PLEASE EMAIL TO [email protected] WITH SIZE AND COPIES OR UPLOAD TO http://coonacomputerhospital.com.au/photo-pr/upload-photos/ Thank you for understanding.

20.01.2022 This is what we deal with around Coonabarabran with the #NBN Today I had a house call only 3-4km outside of Coonabarabran to set up a computer and printer. Some fairly routine stuff. There were also a few minor things with accessing an email account and setting up a forward. Sounds normal right? I would have to download some drivers and get some authorisation codes for the email. But just 3-4km from town this customer is forced to have Skymuster satellite. Thats right, the ...solution thats only supposed to be for the most remote outposts of this country is actually the only solution being presented to people just outside of Coonabarabran. And today it was working appallingly. I couldnt successfully access or download anything! It got so bad I took the slightly odd step of taking the laptop and driving back into town to the office. Where were have "proper" NBN. Ten minutes back into town, 15 minutes downloading and setting up what I needed, then 10 minutes back to the customers house and it was all done. I literally drove back into town to do the downloading I needed to do because the customers satellite wasnt good enough to work! This is what people on Skymuster regularly have to deal with and its not good enough for the growing parts of our town. If we want this town to get anywhere in the future it has to get better. Soon enough, we will do that. #NBN #localsdoitbetter #onedaysoon

20.01.2022 With returns like this have you thought about what you could do around here?

16.01.2022 Did you know that Windows 7 will no longer be supported by Microsoft after January 14 of this month? If you still run Windows 7, are you prepared? See the advice from Microsoft here: https://support.microsoft.com//windows-7-support-will-end- If your Windows screen looks like the picture, it means you wont get any more security fixes or other updates after the 14th, and youll be at much greater risk of problems from hackers and other online issues. ... Talk to us today about your future options, including new PCs or upgrades. Depending on the age of the computer you might be able to purchase and upgrade to Windows 10, but for most older machines, your best option will be to upgrade entirely.

14.01.2022 Recently a social media workshop run by council reminded many in town of how much better a job we could all do keeping Coonabarabrans online presence up to date... Google Maps for instance is missing so many pictures for businesses and even some current business details. How do you think most travellers, even locals, find and use businesses now? So over the weekend we went added a few new photos to over a dozen local main street businesses. And in the process also updated a few listings and other details, and even added a listing for one new business entirely. We do it every so often just because, but really its a job and a business keeping up with the stuff. Talk to us if you want to know more, or want your social media and online presence improved.
