19.01.2022 A genealogical DNA test is a DNA-based test which looks at specific locations of a person's genome, in order to find or verify ancestral genealogical relationships. This is an interesting and complicated subject so last month at the Genies’ Heritage Centre in Cooroy, Roger Ladbrook presented a comprehensive all you need to know DNA Workshop with an audience Q & A afterwards. Many members have had their DNA tests done so Roger’s workshop was able to explain many of the aspects of their test results and how they can use those results in their family history research. For more info about the Cooroy-Noosa Genies and becoming a member check out our website.
