25.01.2022 Another successful Australia Day weekend at the Coota field. The weather while Hot was very very good for flying. Lots of flying done by all the members and visitors that attended. Thanks to all who came for a fly. Also a big Thank you to Helen and the gang in the canteen who keep us fed over the weekend.

24.01.2022 Well a few of us made our way to Albury to fly at the Twin cities aeromodellers club scale rally. The weather was kind with a bit of wind both days and a good variety of planes on show!!!!!! Great way to spend a weekend!!!!!

20.01.2022 This weekend we had a few visitors come to Cootamundra to do some aero towing and some general flying. Thanks to all that came to visit and to fly. Weather was good a little cool and a bit of a breeze......

19.01.2022 Hi all. A quick message from our club secretary..... Stay safe and happy flying to all. With the relaxing of the Covid 19 lock down in NSW on Friday the 15th of May at 9am the field will be open to Cootamundra members only.... The field will be restricted to 10 members at a time and the kitchen will only be allowed 2 members at any one time. All cups and utensils must be washed up in hot water immediately after use and put away. There will be hand sanitiser on site please use before touching anything that others may use. The current rules around social distancing must be followed at all times. As we have plenty of room in the pits, flight line and club house the rules will be easy to follow, remember to think of others. It is recommended that anyone wanting to use the field have the Covid 19 app on their phone. Safe flying to all

18.01.2022 Well its all done for another year. The invitational scale classic was held at the Cootamundra flying field over this weekend. Weather conditions were not great with some big winds on thursday and Friday. Saturday and sunday shaped up a little better weather wise. Overall it was a great few days of compe t ion flying. Congratulations to all the winners in each category. ... Thank you to all the club members for helping out. Also a big thanks the John and Cheryl Rolfe for organising a great event.

11.01.2022 So this weekend we had the Coota Aerotow. With a number of visitors from NSW, ACT and VIC as well as club members both flying and helping out. Weather was very good and a fair bit of flying fun was had with some great looking planes and gliders. Here are some pics of the weekend!!!!!

08.01.2022 Our AGM was held on Saturday 20th July at the field. There was about 15 people/ members who attended. After a bit of dicussion on a range of topics The following committee has been elected to see out the next year.... President............Graham James. Vice President....Jamie Aquilina. Treasurer.............Alan Roberts.... Secretary.............Darren Case. CFI.......................Brett Cadwallader. Safety Officer.......Brett Cadwallader. Public Officer.......Jamie Aquilina. We have had a very successful past year at the club with a number of big improvements happening throughout the year. With the committee and all members we hope to continue improving the club and facilities for the next year and hope to see some new people joining the club. Here are some pics of the day!!!!!

06.01.2022 So what's everyone up to???? While we are all not out at the flying field, Share a picture of what you are working on in your shed. I am currently working a VQ Beaver repair/ recover but also knocked up a plane assembling stand in the meantime. Stay safe and healthy!!!!!
