23.01.2022 We had a busy & fun day yesterday helping at the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council Australia day breakfast in the park. Congratulations to all the award recipients this year. A special mention & congratulations to Michelle on winning the young citizen of the year award. Michelle has been an active volunteer for her peers for many years. In 2020 her design was chosen as the wining logo in our design competition. Michelle has also volunteered with community groups includin...g The Arts Centre Cootamundra & currently holds the position of secretary for CYC. Congratulations Michelle you are a very deserving recipient of this award.

20.01.2022 It's time to get out the camera and celebrate our native birds. The Cowra Natural Resource Management Committee are holding a photography competition. The birds are out and singing at the moment. For your chance to win, photograph some of their magnificence and send your pictures in. There are some great prizes available. Good luck everybody

02.01.2022 DOG ON THE SELFIEBOX COMPETITION!! Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council are celebrating the installation of our new selfie box located at the iconic Dog on the Tuckerbox! Together Gundagai and Cootamundra Youth Council have embraced this new attraction and developed the idea of running a four-legged friend photography competition! In the past we have seen some awesome photos of all your furry friends sitting beside the Dog but image if your animal was the famous icon it...self! This competition is open to locals and travelers. The competition will be running on both Facebook and Instagram. The winner will be selected on the 28th of November The Dog’s 88th birthday! WIN - An awesome Radius mountain bike offering comfortable geometry, and knobby tyres. The 27.5 wheels deliver the ideal mix of agility and speed. To enter is simple: Use the hashtag #dogontheselfiebox when posting your photo Tag the Gundagai Visitor Information Centre (if posting) on Facebook and Visit Gundagai (if posting) on Instagram!
