23.01.2022 Newsletters with all updates will be sent out soon. **Coral Coast Dance Academy Coronavirus Contingency Plan ** Dear Parents and Students,... At CCD our priority is safety and we advise the following contingency plans as a precautionary measure. The Statistics - As of 13th March there are 14 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in WA. Health professionals are working hard to identify and contain the virus. The fatality rate is most prevalent in persons aged 60 and above or who are immune compromised and no fatalities have been reported for children thus far. Immediate Measures for CCDA We respectfully ask that any student or parent who has recently travelled to a country listed as high risk, or may have come into contact with a case of COVID-19 does not attend their classes for 14 days upon return. We ask that any student who is unwell with flu like symptoms refrain from coming to class. We will be taking the following precautions: - Students won't be holding hands in class - We are limiting the use of props. - The equipment and props will be regularly cleaned - We are encouraging students to wash their hands and are asking parents to take students to wash their hands in the facilities before and after classes. In the Event Of A Forced Closure- In the extremely unlikely event this happens at CCDA - we have put a contingency plan in place whereby we will have extra classes or work shops to make up for missed classes and provide information on how the children can continue to practise dancing at home. Should this extreme measure need to be put in place we will send more information on practise at home and future classes/workshops. For now we just wanted you to know there is a plan ready to go should we need it. We are continuing to stay up to date by the official and the government's latest guidelines from the Department of Health and follow the recommendations for the schools in WA. At CCDA we are passionate about fostering friendships through love of dance and performing arts that last a lifetime. We are committed to continuing this (until if/when a health organisation tells us not to!). 05.01.2022 With Government advising all non essential businesses including pubs, cinemas, gyms and indoor sporting venues to close, Coral Coast Dance Academy made the difficult decision that all dance classes (beginners, dance, acro and tap) are cancelled until further notice. . Dance classes in-person are temporarily suspended effective immediately, no classes as of today Monday 23rd March 2020. Stay healthy, happy and safe. Sorry for any inconvenience. 01.01.2022 Acro-Dance starts today 4-30-5:00pm Little Bubbas Group (parent & me) 5:00-5:45pm Beginners (pre primary and under/juniors welcome) 5:45-6:45pm Junior and Seniors (year 1 - high school) ... As it has been bought to my attention that the 5:45pm class maybe too close to some younger juniors bed time, juniors are welcome to join the Beginners class. Please come to whichever class time best suits your child regardless of age group. We will review classes and make changes as required later. Look forward to seeing you in Wonderland soon..
