Internally we are building a brilliant team; overall creating a stunning, supportive and sensational place to work! ABOUT THE ROLE We currently have an opportunity for a Front Office Manager to join our team at Coral Sea Resort Hotel. This pivotal position will play an important role in our leadership team and managing the rooms division function. As Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading the front office team to ensure all guests needs in relation to their visit at Coral Sea Resort Hotel have been attended to in a professional and prompt manner; Manage the delivery of high quality professional guest service, attend to any dissatisfied guest complaints and take appropriate action to amend or escalate as required Develop and adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure team are capable in their positions; Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business requirements, and ensure all people management processes in relation to recruitment, training and development are managed accurately in conjunction with the People and Culture department Provide to the General Manager - Hotel accurate financial reporting, daily activity and revenue reports, and wage costs ensure immaculate presentation of the front entrance and lobby area Ensure a collaborative relationship and effective communication with Reservations, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Support Service departments. To be successful in the position of Front Office Manager, you will need: Demonstrated experience working in a similar supervisory or management position in the Hotel industry, ideally in a 4 star or above establishment Ability to adapt to new systems and property management software, working with Maxial would be ideal Proven experience leading and managing a team to achieve operational outcomes exemplary grooming and presentation standards Ability to work a flexible roster including late evenings, early starts, weekends and public holidays.
