11.01.2022 From 12pm Tuesday 22 September Corangamite Shire Council will enter into Election Period prior to the October 2020 (Local Government) Council election. The Local Government Act 2020 provides direction about what kind of information can be published by Council or using Council resources during the Election Period. These resources include social media. In order to avoid any potential breaches of the Act, all material published to Council social media, including comments on post...s, will be closely moderated during the Election Period. In practice this will mean that all comments will be manually reviewed for adherence to the Act. 10.01.2022 A few years ago Corangamite Shire Youth Council designed a little social connection for resilience project called 'We Know Your Name But Not Your Story'. The model's success was chosen by VicHealth to replicated in other Victorian Councils to join more community members together for better wellbeing. We were so excited to assist the team at Maroondah City Council Youth Services to make the connection happen in their community... and we're even more excited to see their film. Make sure you check out the launch!!!

10.01.2022 Mali joined youth crew last year after being inspired by her time in the Alpine leadership program and participating in Corangamites We Know Your Name But Not Your Story. A Californian native, Mali spent her younger years growing up in beautiful Big Sur and now a Peterborough local she is passionate about the environment, having fun and helping others.

Hes in charge of keeping the business running for the Corangamite Crew, aside from this Bens on his way to being a master builder and is known for his mechanical restoration expertise. Ben lives in Duverney did you know thats in Corangamite. We first met Ben at BRICKS in 2018 and we are super excited to have him on the Youth Crew.
