19.01.2022 1st June 1992 Sydney A whole new world for this 21 year old with a big dream. Sydney was MASSIVE compared to Perth not only in size but in the Music culture. More bands, more venues and just a shit load more people. I felt like i had gone from primary school straight into TAFE ,it was a shock and a wake up call all at the same time. What was cool back in Perth was yesterday's news in Sydney and I had to adjust...and adjust I did.... Even thoughi was there with my Bass player Steve White looking to join a band I did keep noticing this ad around for a band named KILSWITCH ...Yes with 1 L. I decided after a few weeks to call them and suss it out and would be in the band for a short time before returning to Perth. I learnt so much from KILSWITCH and the Sydney music scene that I felt I was Alot more educated on how to go forward with my own musical home. KILSWITCH would go on to be one of the best metal bands of the time on the east coast and getting good publicity. I would come back to Perth and start the best band I have ever been in.....SILENT SCREAM. To be continued See more
12.01.2022 Silent Scream mid 1992 to Mid 1994. When I got back from Sydney I wasn't to sure on what to do next as I felt I had takin a step backwards coming back to Perth, but I knew I had to do it better than I had before i left for Sydney. 05.01.2022 FORTISSIMO 94- 97 The break up of Silent Scream gutted both Jason and I but it gave reason to have motivation for the next chapter of our lives. Although we were still at war legally with our former manager we focused so hard on making this work for us and for us to continue without losing momentum.
