25.01.2022 The Premier giving the latest Covid-19 update.

25.01.2022 Welcome back Victoria!

24.01.2022 There's no place in South Australia for this garbage. By introducing this legislation we’ve taken strong action to ensure demeaning and disgusting slogans will no longer appear on vehicles driving around our state. Vickie Chapman MP Hon Michelle Lensink MLC Carolyn Power MP Katrine Hildyard MP

24.01.2022 Congratulations to Charli from Christthekingschool, one of our winners for the Christmas Card Competition! Keeping in with the 'My Colourful Christmas' theme, Charli's card was very bright and playful with two gingerbread men.

21.01.2022 Happy 90th birthday to those in David Speirs MP and my local community, celebrating the milestone. Despite the year we've had we were lucky to celebrate the special event with everyone enjoying time with each other and families.

20.01.2022 Due to extreme heat over the coming days, we have adjusted testing facility times and added a new temporary location at the Wayville Show-grounds. This walk-in site will be air-conditioned and there will be parking available. Please be patient with staff who are working hard to organise logistics and collect samples.... And remember to bring plenty of water, snacks and sun protection if you’re attending a walk-in facility. ALL testing locations around the state can be found here: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidtesting

20.01.2022 It was a privilege to be invited as a guest speaker to the Brighton Secondary School Peer Leadership training day. South Australia will be in good hands with these future leaders of our community.

20.01.2022 The response from Netball SA couldn’t be more enthusiastic! See what they say about the $12 million investment for Stage Two of the redevelopment at SA's home of netball in Mile End. The upgrade includes creating modern entry facilities, updated café and bar facilities, increased stadium capacity and upgraded score and replay screens.

Enter via Rose Terrace Car parking available via Rose Terrace Air-conditioned site Please note that the Magill and Gawler facilities will remain closed until further notice so that staff can be diverted to sites more in need.

17.01.2022 Our solution for the North-South Corridor is set to provide a $2 billion urban uplift along the Torrens to Darlington stretch and surrounding suburbs. Hybrid+ will see house values increase, greater investment opportunities for commercial and retail sites and the development of some fantastic public spaces and Simon Tanner from Tanner Real Estate thinks we’ll start to see it reflect in the market almost immediately.

17.01.2022 **Important Covid-19 Update** Today we've announced that from 1 December, our border restrictions with Victoria will be removed. Our borders have helped to keep SA safe and strong, however we have always said we would act swiftly on the expert health advice to remove them as soon as it was safe to do so.... I acknowledge how difficult this period has been for many people particularly those who have been separated from their loved ones. The reopening of the border will see families reunited and it will help stimulate our economy, boost tourism and create jobs. Finally, the return of standing hospitality is imminent with SA Health working extremely hard to have a government contact tracing check-in system up and running. Certain businesses will need to use the new system. This includes pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes and other licensed venues. Once it's available and businesses have implemented it, standing hospitality inside and outside will be allowed to resume immediately. Another update regarding changes to other restrictions that remain in place is expected after the Transition Committee meets next Tuesday 17 November. I'd like to thank all South Australians for the sacrifices you have made in this unprecedented year.

16.01.2022 Noticed anything on your drive through the Darlington Interchange lately? Some of South Australia's best and most creative artists are adorning the concrete pillars with beautiful murals to create a vibrant precinct. The project's theme is "Looking to the Future" and has been curated by Vans the Omega - it's focused on highlighting the innovative research and technology undertaken at Flinders and Tonsley precincts as well as celebrating the local environment.... They were very interested and asked plenty of engaging questions!
