25.01.2022 I had to laugh when I came in this morning and found this on the wall. As part of our revamp of the Community Centre we are having the function room painted and obviously Carl, the maintenance man on loan to us by the Bass Coast Council has a sense of humour! The ceiling has been painted white and now the walls are being done so the Function Room will look brighter and fresh. We also have purchased comfy new chairs to replace the tired old wooden ones. Thanks Carl for all your hard work. We are looking forward to welcoming people back within the new Covid normal.

15.01.2022 Yesterday 22 people took part in the Remember the Good Old Days Zoom event held in partnership with CDCC and Chisholm TAFE. A great response and a lot of learning was done ( and laughing). All also enjoyed the delicious afternoon tea supplied by Fig and the Bay. Looking forward to the next one!

12.01.2022 We hope todays news reduces the stress for those of you with family and friends in Melbourne, hopefully not long before you can catch up in person. Sadly our community centre is still required to stay closed to the public except for our essential services such as food relief, JP services and essential document printing and copying. We can have outdoor activities for limited numbers however the weather isnt making that a viable option.

10.01.2022 Great news! The centre is now able to open on a more regular basis. We can now be offer food relief from 10am-4pm Monday - Thursday. If you know someone in the Waterline area who is in need of food assistance we have a good range of pantry items. All visitors to the centre must register their name and phone number and meet current Covid requirements

07.01.2022 Only two places left for the creative two day workshop. Book in now!

01.01.2022 As we head toward Christmas our food pantry, which is now in a larger room thanks to Covid, is well stocked with pantry items. (we do not currently have fresh or frozen items) If you know of local families who are finding it tough this year we can help them out with a package of food to get them through. We will also take donations of new, unopened, items to add to food parcels up until 10 December. Food Pantry is available 10am - 4pm Monday - Thursday. (will be closed 2 ...December due to power outage) We will be closing for Christmas from 17 December reopening on 11 January.
