25.01.2022 OK ladies and Gents today is Tuesday 21st Jan and I have just been advised that the farm road will be out of action on THIS THURSDAY 23rd Jan from 7.30am until 4.30pm for our new road to be cut through the hill. Hopefully it will only take one day but maybe the next day also??? Any problems please give me a ring and also tell anyone who is not on facebook please. Nick

24.01.2022 Ok at last, roller arriving on friday night or sat morning then sand after that and hopefully a useable 24mt round yard!!!.

24.01.2022 BEAUTIFUL FRIESIAN HORSES These horses were in the Tulip Festival parade, about 5 years ago! Beautiful!! These horses were originally bred as "war horses" in the days of knights and armor. As armor got heavier, bigger horses were needed and the Freisian... Nearly became extinct. They are back and are one of the prettiest horses in stature as well as gait. What gorgeous animals!! Just watching them becomes an emotional experience. Can you imagine what it would be like to ride one? Their manes and tails are the longest that I have seen and I noticed that when performing on grass, their hoofs do not kick up a divot (they land flat footed). Creatures such as these are what makes this world so special. These horses are native to the Netherlands . 24.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=2783535913626 This is rather special, I might have to create some green grass!!

21.01.2022 News from Nick. I am sure you would have seen the new electric fences in the Hop paddock? there are now four individual paddocks and one access paddock which gives a little flexability when pushed for space, having said that you will be pleased to learn that I have created a laneway to the bush and opened the fence to the bush up the centre of the hop paddock I would welcome any comment either by email [email protected] or by text or phone 0439986698. I would also like... to know If you think it is nessesary to have hot water available all the year round, I put the hotwater in some time ago so as to avoid using freezing cold water during the winter to rinse the horses after a ride. When the water is 18 degrees out of the tap in the summer and I am swimming in the tamar!! do we really need the hot water cylinder churning away at $150 per month? I will be advised no doubt .. 20.01.2022 Hannah, would you like the BBQ up at the round yard for tues? I have been up there today and mowed around the round yard and the dressage arena.

14.01.2022 Great start to the new road and it was open as per my previous post, SO, the next event is the same for tues and Wed, that is the 28th and 29th next week same timing 7.30am to 4.30pm and by Wed evening we should be driving on the new road, fingers and toes crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they are going to put in two new culverts for me one after the bridge over the creek and the other down near Narelles paddock.

14.01.2022 The new boundary fence is almost finished, wooden droppers to go on in three or four weeks. Simone has a new water trough for her two top paddocks.

07.01.2022 Hopefully, this weekend Darren Ross will put the new underground pipe into the Hop paddock so we can water two more fenced off areas for Molly and Ginny

07.01.2022 The new farm road in from Cormiston road is now well underway. I have been told that they intend to join the new with the old and then we can use which will allow them to work on the lower side. After xmas the plan is to spend about two or three days flat out to remove a large part of the knob on the LHS half way up the drive I will post the plan when I know what is planned after xmas/New year They are also going to replace the two damaged pipes under my roads for me and then I will re-gravel the bad sections of the farm road. Nick

06.01.2022 I hope you are enjoying the new round yard, I am sure some will be delighted to know that I am having built a Horse poo smudge spreader to tow behind my 4Wbike 12 feet wide and It will be ready to pick up next week (Candy and Simone)!! The harrows are far too heavy for the bike and the new unit will have wheels on the other side so as to be able to tow it down the road without any hassles. I have ordered a new water trough for you (Simone) also. Nick

05.01.2022 Do we need the BBQ brought to the round yard for Tues, Nick
