24.01.2022 Dear colleagues, I wonder if you can help me with one of my roles for one of our national accrediting associations? (Max Martin here!) In light of the increasing complexity and diversity of the health of Australians, there's an increased need for collaboration across the exercise professional qualifications, including PTs, S&C, AESs (Exercise Scientists), and AEPs (Exercise Physiologists). If you work within a model that employs any combination of these qualifications, would you mind sending me a PM so we can hopefully discuss a bit further? we are looking for such models that work to enhance collaboration and client outcomes! (feel free to share this post if appropriate!!)

21.01.2022 Our resident S&C coach Hunter Bennet has written a great piece on the benefits of strength training to improve endurance performance (read RUNNERS and CYCLISTS!), with clear tips on how to apply that training for maximum benefit!

19.01.2022 Dear AEP colleagues, This post is for one key person reading it who would love to be a part of the iNform team! the key criteria that make you that key person are: 1) A strong interest in MSK and corrective exercise 2) you are a nerd... 3) You are an AEP 4) You are a nerd 5) you have ideally attended a lecture or workshop delivered by the iNform/cExa team 6) You are not just looking for a job. You want to be an iNform team member, and help us improve the health of our clients. 7) You are a nerd 8) You understand that iNform has very high exercise prescription standards, and so are keen to undergo our On-Boarding training process before you start. The position will start as casual across 4-5shifts, building to perm-part time; and for the right people, a fulfilling long term career! Please email me at [email protected] to show me you are that key person! I'm looking forward to having you on board!

16.01.2022 Even for elite ballet dancers strength training and dynamic stretching are becoming preferred injury prevention strategies over static stretching.

10.01.2022 Very proud to be involved in the 4th edition of one of the most practical and well known textbooks in exercise science!! A huge thank you to editors Profs Roger Eston and Kevin Ian Norton for the opportunity to contribute; and to my writing colleagues Hunter Bennett, John Arnold and Kade Davison!
