21.01.2022 At Corrigin DHS we are working to educate students regarding online safety. We strongly advise you as parents/carers to closely monitor what your child/ren are accessing online. If you or your child find innaproriate content we also encourage you to report it to eSafety at www.esafety.gov.au/report/illegal-harmful-content. We are currently looking at other funding sources to have Holly-ann (Safe 4 Kids) to run a community session that we hope all members of the community will attend. More information will be out soon.

17.01.2022 What a great day we had for the carnival yesterday - Josh, Bec and organising committee are to be commended for the planning and running of an absolutely amazing Inter School event. Corrigin students and staff represented our whole school extremely well and the new shades were noticed and appreciated by all. We have had many compliments from parents, other schools and community members. Staff who remained at school are also commended for their flexibility and support that en...sured teaching and learning continued whilst others were away. Big thank you to Kelli Hawkins and Anne Newton for running the canteen and providing refreshments. We really appreciated the wonderful lunches provided by the Mallee Tree Cafe and Dawns Delights. Thank you for supporting our event. Thanks so much to Gerry Smith for assisting us with the PA System and to the Shire of Corrigin for lending the PA System to us, it worked amazingly well. Congratulations to all the students from all schools that competed with such great sportsmanship. Thank you all - I am one very proud Principal.

13.01.2022 Good Morning Corrigin Community In our small community messages that are not accurate are sometimes shared, usually with good intention. This message is to keep you informed regarding staffing for 2021. We are in process of recruiting ECE and primary school staff for 2021. At this stage there have been no decisions on allocation of staff to classes for 2021 in the primary school. Human resources are allocated by the principal according to school needs and skills of staff. Allocations will be decided once recruitment processes are complete. We intend to have this information out by the end of term. If you require further information please feel free to contact me on 9063 2042. Thank You Heather Prance

07.01.2022 A big thank you to the Shire of Corrigin for helping us to clean up the items that were no longer required in our D&T area. Kelly, Pippa, Lachlan, Shane and Graham have all worked hard to make this area a much better space. This area looks amazing and we really appreciate all the hard work by everyone. Thank you to everyone that assisted.

02.01.2022 We are in need of some concrete pavers, preferably free for a student project. Appreciate any donations

02.01.2022 Yesterday students K-10 and staff participated in the week 5 CARE Reward, Walk-n-Talk to the Adventure Playground. All students had their Good Standing so all were included. Students and staff were placed into small groups each with secondary students leading, to walk a planned route to the playground. Along the way students used cue cards to inspire conversations with each other. At the park we shared a sausage sizzle lunch and free play. We returned to school in time for afternoon classes. The activity was planned and organised by Mrs Kiddle and was a huge success with all staff supporting the Walk-n-Talk.
