18.01.2022 Today 5/6S went on a trip through the Solar System on a rocket. Dont be fooled by this picture- they were completely in the dark using torches to read their information about each planet. Such a fun way to end the unit; the student engagement was out of this !

17.01.2022 Our lost property basket is overflowing. The basket is located under the verandah near 5/6 Payne. Please pop in and check if we have any of your belongings! Don’t forget to label all new items of 2021 to ensure they are kept safe.

16.01.2022 We commemorated Remembrance Day with a service in our Quadrangle led by our Grade 5/6 Leaders. Students then added a poppy to our gardens. Classes spent the day learning about the importance of remembering.

16.01.2022 Thursday 19th is "Infant Fun Day". Students from Prep to Gr 2 will be involved in fun, outdoor activities from 10-1. We will be joined by Prep - Gr 2 students from Evandale, Perth, Cressy and Campbell Town. Please make sure your child has their school hat, lots of water to drink and sunscreen, as the forecast is for a beautiful 27 degrees. Unfortunately, due to continuing covid-19 restrictions, parents will be unable to attend, but we will take lots of photos to share on this page and in the next newsletter. Children can still have a lunch order, however, we won't be eating until 1 o'clock.

08.01.2022 What a wonderful start to Term 3! Today classes were introduced to our Positive Behaviour Matrix in the quadrangle and in classrooms. The matrix was established after discussions with students, parents and staff and reflects current research. It was made possible through a Combatting Bullying Initiative School Grant. We look forward to sharing our work with you all.
