It is completely understandable that you deserve to spoil yourself with something that make you feel good and attractive. I have a lot of ladies enquiring who are pregnant or breastfeeding who want perfect brows and makeup to wake up to every morning to suit their new busy mum lifestyle. Unfortunately though, most women d...on’t realise that Permanent Makeup is not recommended for women while they are pregnant or breastfeeding. Here’s the run down on why All Cosmetic Tattoo procedures carry some risk of infection because the skin is being broken. While all measures are taken to prevent any infection during the procedure is a very slight possibility you can get an infection if not cared for correctly after the procedure (for example if the client wears makeup or touches the healing work done). If this happens, then the baby could pick up a secondary infection. During pregnancy, facial tissue can be stretched due to swelling and fluid retention. This means that makeup tattoos applied during pregnancy have the potential to change in shape once the baby has been born or no longer suit. Facial skin may be more susceptible to pigment darkening (especially for those who get Melasma, commonly known as the mask of pregnancy) and so the trauma to the skin during the procedure may result in hyper-pigmentation in that area. So basically your skin would get pigmented and darker in some areas On the other had in some women find their skin may also be resistant to accepting the tattoo pigment due to the increase in hormonal changes and fluctuations There is also a slight possibility that some ladies can faint while being pregnant and this would not be ideal while tattooing. Most cosmetic tattooists will use some form of anesthetic and numbing cream prior and during procedures. These will absorb into the skin and may enter into the blood stream. There is not enough known about the tattoo pigments on the growing baby to ensure safety It's always best to be cautious while being pregnant.

10.01.2022 BROW CARE Do not expect your brow tattoo to heal perfectly or have perfect results after the first session. This is a 2 step process, sometimes more step process. The first touch up (second session) is done within 8-12 weeks after the initial session.... Re book to book your touch up appointment ro insure you to go over the time for the touch up. permanent makeup may not appear as bold or sharp on darker skin clients compared to lighter skin clients. Some clients may have a harder time retaining pigment and may require additional touch ups LONG TERM CARE Use a good sunscreen. Sun exposure will fade your cosmetic tattoo If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure please inform them of your permanent cosmetics. Laser light therapy can darken, light and distort the pigment The use of RetinA/Tretinoin or any other rapid skin exfoliation products used regularly on the forehead will cause the permanent makeup to the eyebrow area to fade prematurely The use of chemical peels and acid peels regularly on the forehead region can also cause eyebrow tattoos to fade prematurely See more
