01.01.2022 Meet David Mutchmor, the Logistics and Warehouse Lead at Costa Berries Tasmania. "When I moved down to Tasmania, Costa was one of the biggest names so I applied to be a picker, but I went straight into supervising harvest crews. I spent a couple of months supervising and then moved into the coordinator’s role. Now I am working as the Logistics and Warehouse Lead. It’s definitely been challenging, but super rewarding and I have picked up tonnes of new skills.... I grew up in Canada and am a Mechanical Engineer. Working with Costa I have been really lucky and I am gaining skills I hadn’t had a chance to develop in my previous jobs. The work does take you out of your comfort zone, but it keeps you engaged and challenged. Even with my engineering background, I find this work really rewarding. It’s refreshing to be in such a diverse and accepting workforce." #costaberries #costagroup #costastaff Search for vacancies at Costa here: https://costagroup.currentjobs.co/Job
