In 2019 Katie was invited to be an ARTIST IN ACTION at the annual Mirboo North Art Show , held at the local shire hall - a hop and a skip from CGT headquarters. It was a fabulous afternoon, that gave art patrons an opportunity to chat to Katie about embroidery, her passion for textiles, the Cottage Garden Threads story and share the concept behind the Field Journal Club. ... The afternoon was shared with another two amazing Artist in Action participants, both from the rolling hills of Gippsland.
