Saturday 1st August: 9am - 5pm MAREEBA POOL RE-OPENING: Wednesday 19th August: 6am - 6pm DIMBULAH POOL RE-OPENING: EDIT: Thursday 1st October - as per previous years. (Sorry, it was originally advertised as 1st September, unfortunately this was a typo!) As you're all already used to, there will be a few changes with the procedures and the operation of the pools which are inline with the QLD Governments requirements. 14.01.2022 MESSAGE FROM JUNE & SYDNEY COTTER To Our Valued Customers & Staff, It was with great sadness that on Tuesday night we received news that all Public Pools around Australia were to close due to the evolving situation surrounding COVID-19. With this call meant that 31 employees & volunteers where placed out of work. Some of these staff have young families or ill family members. Within my many years of running a wide range of businesses I have never had to lay someone ...off & it is with great sadness that we had to do this for the first time on Wednesday. Both Sydney and myself would like to thank our many valued customers over the Mareeba Shire whether it be LTS Lessons, Squad Members, Aqua Fitness attendees or just swimmers for their support and encouragement through these tough times. Myself and Sydney wish you all good health & safety during these uncertain times. At this current time there is no planned reopening for all three of the pools. As soon as we have any information on the future opening we will be sure to let you know through this Facebook page and our website.
