23.01.2022 Following today’s announcement of new COVID-19 cases in Melbourne’s East and listing of exposure sites in Victoria, the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services and Eastern Health will be setting up a pop-up COVID testing site at East Ringwood Reserve (the former Maroondah Sports Club), 49A Mount Dandenong Road, East Ringwood. The site will be operating from Friday 1 January and will be open between 9am and 5pm. If you were at any of the exposure sites during the lis...ted times, you must get tested, and isolate until you get a negative result. See the DHHS website for exposure site details: https://bit.ly/37YyIV1 For all other COVID-19 testing sites, see: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/where-get-tested-covid-19 If you are experiencing even mild symptoms, get tested, and stay home. #coronavirus #covid19

22.01.2022 Vote 1 for Nora Lamont Wonga Ward

22.01.2022 I love all businesses in Maroondah and it’s been so hard to see them closed over the past several months! I can’t wait until everything is open again!! Thank you to the Budgie Smuggler for the endorsement. I cannot speak highly enough of Nora’s commitment to supporting our venue in Ringwood. From assisting with our pre-open planning, to her recent support during the Covid-19 forced closure seeing us having to completely change our business model to takeaway only. She has stu...ck by our business showing us just how much she genuinely cares about businesses in the community. As the Managing Director of The Budgie Smuggler in Ringwood I truly believe Nora is a huge asset to the Maroondah community and through my first hand experience of her professionalism, kindness and fair attitude I hope that she can continue to serve as a councillor. - Matthew Newman

17.01.2022 The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front after the bloodshed of WWI. Over the past century, th...is moment has been adopted across the globe as a time to remember those who served and sacrificed in all conflicts and is symbolised by the red poppy. Please #rememembertoremember this November all those who served for the greater good of our futures. See more

17.01.2022 The holiday season should be a time for celebration. Sadly, we see a peak in family violence. Family violence is never okay. There is no excuse for abusing a family member. We will continue to respond to reports of family violence, and are here if you need us: https://bit.ly/3mEJzrj
