In October this year, a Monash headspace will be opened to support the mental health of young people in our area. Great advocacy work by our young people and Monash Youth Services

The bees and seeds kits were such a great idea by our sustainability staff and all credit goes to them for this fantastic program which was really popular in our community. And it is great to be part of a community that is so keen to do more to improve sustainability. Go team City of Monash!

04.01.2022 Public transport in Monash is going to look really different in the future! Sites are at Clayton, Monash University and Glen Waverley, as well as just out of the City of Monash in Burwood. It's going to take a long time of course but will be amazing when it is done. Hopefully this is just the beginning of more investment in all types of public transport in Monash. More public transport gives us all more options.

04.01.2022 I was really pleased to be able to bring this idea to council last week after hearing from so many members of the community that they were missing seeing people smiling once we all started wearing masks. I’m hoping this initiative will take off so we can smile at each other while we have our masks on. #signyoursmile #thisismonash

04.01.2022 Great opportunity to learn how to divert dangerous chemicals from landfill and dispose of them safely. Have you replaced any chemicals around the home with natural products? Do you have any tips? My favourite is vinegar - I use it in so many places around the home! But one of the best tips I got from my mum was getting ink out of fabric with full fat milk. Just soak for a couple of hours then wash as usual. What’s your best tip for how to use natural products around the home?
