12.01.2022 ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS! The government has finally passed a couple of the budget announcements late last week. The $20k immediate tax deduction for capital purchases went through (although you probably thought it already had with the retail stores advertising campaigns). Also the company tax rate from 1 July 2015 has reduced to 28.5% (down from 30%). So you only have a couple of days remaining in this financial year to take advantage of these changes and possibly reduce your tax liability for 2015.

11.01.2022 Tax Agent registration finally came through. Now I can lodge all those dodgy tax returns :)
