23.01.2022 A big weekend for Badminton in Bendigo, with the 30th running of the Veterans Tournament. Held over 2 days and 3 sites in Eaglehawk with a dinner held on the Saturday night at the Bendigo Club. Lots of fun, some good badminton and our food to boot....a perfect recipe.

The night was organised by the Strathfieldsaye Primary School in conjunction with Bendigo Real Estate to celebrate the start of the new school year. A wonderful community event!

On today's menu, guests are enjoying yummy Egg and Bacon Rolls, Fresh Fruit Cups, Waffles, Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Home made Roasted Granola with Blueberries, Banana and Vanilla Yoghurt. So need a coffee about now...

08.01.2022 A most beautiful day at Lauriston to celebrate the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Ian and Sally. 100 family and friends enjoyed a yummy menu starting with a few canapes, assorted Bruschetta, Sushi and Blinis...then slow cooked Texan Style Brisket, Asian Spiced Pork Belly, Satay Chicken Sticks with Homemade Satay Sauce, Rocket and Baby Spinach Salad with Parmesan, Almonds, Red Onion, Rice Pilaf with Roasted Cauliflower, Currants, Mint and Coriander, Caramelised Butternut Squash with Quinoa Salad with Roasted Grapes and Feta.....and finished with delicious fruit platters and cheese boards.

06.01.2022 To all our valued clients, Whilst the World Health Organisation has declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic and the recent Australian Government's decision to cancel any events where over 100 people may be present, we have decided to remain open. We pledge to work with our valued clients to honor existing orders and to continue to bring you a fabulous catering experience with some wonderful food, very competitive prices and great customer service!... While our larger community is unsure of what may be ahead for us all, it is a time for common sense and care. We really are all in this together! So with that said, we would like to allay any concerns people are feeling by reinforcing that we have always maintained high levels of food and hygiene practices within our business. Our food safety program works to ensure all members of our team adopts quality food safety standards across everything that is prepared in our kitchen and brought to you via our food vans. We achieve this by: 1. Ensure all delivery vans, serving counters are sanitised pre, during and post use. 2. Hand sanitisers are placed on service counters and disposable gloves available. 3. All equipment is cleaned at high heat and sanitised during cleaning in our industrial kitchen. 4. All food is prepared in a sterile kitchen space as per Health Act. 5. Any staff members that have recently traveled to an affected area or overseas are quarantined for a 14-day period and not allowed to return to work until medically cleared. 6. Any staff member who has a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms, will be required to stay at home and seek medical advice if required. Your continued support will allow local businesses like ours, and our suppliers, to survive. Your support will also keep staff employed and our local economy moving forward. We will be closely monitoring the situation and recommendations from government agencies and update when necessary and follow protocols as issued.
