19.01.2022 NBN and Alarm Systems. It is possible to have a "voice" port on your NBN connection over which your alarm may continue to communicate. You will still pay a 30-35 cent flagfall on alarm communications though. Our biggest concern is what happens during power outage? Whilst the NBN modules can have battery backup, there is no testing procedure to make sure the connection will survive any significant power fail and no ongoing maintenance of that backup. As a result we would not recommend relying on the NBN for your security as there is simply no backup if the NBN fails. What is the value of the contents of your home or business worth? Even more, what is your personal safety worth? Dont cut corners... protect yourself properly with Coverall Security!

19.01.2022 Is your alarm system relying on the 2G network? We can have a look for you and suggest NBN proof options to help stay protected. http://exchange.telstra.com.au//its-time-to-say-goodbye-o/

01.01.2022 Notice something suspicious or unusual? Call the national security hotline. Following the disruption of one of Australia s most substantial terror plots a little over one month ago, and with Australia Day celebrations occurring across Australia tomorrow, Australians are reminded to report suspicious and unusual behaviour to the National Security Hotline. This vital counter-terrorism tool has recently reached a major milestone with calls to the Hotline reaching 250,000. ... Information provided to the Hotline makes a real difference it has helped with ongoing investigations and has sparked new ones. Just last week, a South Australian man was charged with advocating terrorism following a contact to the Hotline. If you notice anything unusual or suspicious call the National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400.
