24.01.2022 Here's the answer to the question I put up last night...remember even during winter snakes will still be out and about. They may venture into homes seeking out warm spots to hide in also take care while driving as they could be sunning themselves. If you need a snake removed call 0435736924 Just like these lovely eldery people did yesterday

22.01.2022 Hey everyone I know you've heard it before time and time and time and time again...but this time I have decided to not renew the business name as you've probably already noticed the name change by now. I will however still help out if I'm available...I've recently renewed a lost passion which is music and will continue photography as well. Thankyou to my darling Kate that's never stopped in believing in me and always encouraged me in everything that I do I've been thinking ...long and hard about this one over the years so please don't get offended if I don't answer the phone as life is happening right now and it's taking myself onto a different path. I'm kinda stuck for words on this one hence no live video and from here on in and no more videos...so feel free to browse through the videos and reminisce and share all your favs.. This is a decision that I haven't taken lightly trust me it's taken me more than a decade to gain the trust from a lot of you, we've laughed, almost shit ourselves, we've cried tears of joy in reuniting lost pets to their owners...so if you do see myself around town feel free to say gday...it's been one hell of a roller coaster ride and the only regrets I have would be...I missed out on our children's birthday parties, always put my life on hold to save yours or your pet's lives...late nights, early mornings hundreds of kms travelled ...and not one holiday....so in saying that thankyou burnett people and dalby, crows nest and even Gayndah people. Thankyou for trusting me with your lives and confiding in me...it always remained confidential. Also I've gotta thank Michael Sanford for mentoring me all those years ago....kind regards Christian

21.01.2022 "Snakes Can Be Found In Compost Bins" Hey everyone yesterday Darryl sent me a text saying get ready bro brown snake call coming your way, no longer had I read that the phone rang. A distressed gentleman was telling me his daughter had a large brown snake slither right past her near her feet. She then watched it disappear inside a compost bin. When we arrived there they showed me the last place they saw it so I lifted up the compost bin and used my hook to sift through the co...mpost but couldn't find anything. So then I decided to shake it around that's when I caught a glimpse of yellow so as you'll see it all happened extremely fast, with their neighbour looking on and it turned out I caught a snake for him 3 years ago...lol happy customers all around... remember there's no excuse to handle a snake situation yourself as you've got myself and Darryl...0435736924 and yes callout fees apply... feel free to share and get the message out there and remember...a venomous snake is not dangerous until you interact with it. 18.01.2022 I know it's not snake related...but if you're looking for some entertainment today...come check this out

17.01.2022 "Still Got It" Hi everyone even though I've retired from callouts I'll still do the odd one here and there, if when I'm not working or doing anything else lol. Today we were called out to a place in Nanango for an Eastern brown snake. The client stated his dogs had bailed it up and after the confrontation the snake went into hiding but under the dog's kennel. As you'll see in this video I didn't give it much of a chance to escape and it was all over rather quickly. Having ...said that though precautions were taken as I've always put the public safety first and I've never compromised anyone's safety including my own. Hence the 15 yrs and never been bitten by a venomous snake. So enjoy this video and share it around...oh and one more thing to add public distancing was being put into practice as Kate stated at the end of this video...remember treat our animals with respect...cheers to the clients that kept an eye on it and helped move this kennel. Been months since I've played with a brown snake lol See more

17.01.2022 Kate here just thought I’d share this post of my sexy man doing what he’s been doing for 15 years. As he’s quit catching he still gets called out by regular customers that have called him in the past and still prefer to use his services. Education has always meant more to him than just getting paid to catch a snake as you’ll see in this video of a carpet python he was called out for in Nanango today for a man with disabilities. Lucky for him it was just a python that he was... sharing the shed with but he didn’t want to take any chances just in case it was a venomous species. Christian was quick to point out the many differences between that and a venomous snake and even identified the skins that were hanging on the posts. So just remember if you’re lucky enough during the hours he’s not working you to may be able to use his services if needed.

15.01.2022 Ok so this video is a little more exciting than the last one, if you get envenomated by this red belly there's a very good chance that you may end up in hospital. Even though no recorded deaths are attributed to this species, patients have described the loss of taste and smell and in worse cases amputation may be needed. The elderly and children are more susceptible to the effects of this venom and in some cases may actually cause renal failure. What gave this guy's posi...tion away was a cheeky magpie lol birds are the best snake alarms always pay attention. The clients couldn't believe how I spotted this snake curled up inside a hole in one of the besser bricks. When we rocked up there I heard a familiar voice say "There's not many snakes Christian can't catch, he's the man for the job" I looked up to see a mate I haven't seen in about 5 years...so after bagging the snake I attempted to jump the fence in the process my calf cramped up and I went all gangly arse onto the ground so a bit of a scraped knee and a bruised ego I was all good, unfortunately for you all my friend didn't capture that on video, maybe next time for all your viewing pleasure.... huge thankyou to Pestilence for being my videographer don't you all think they did a ripper job ...anyhoo remember if you need a snake removed and some light entertainment give me a call 0435736924 now located in Wondai...or give Darryl a call 0498177734 available 24 hrs for your convenience See more

15.01.2022 Id challenge... ok start guessing

14.01.2022 "Wakey, Wakey ,Hands Off Snakey Lol only just got home from removing this gorgeous carpet python from a local school.. I took the liberty to take some video footage of it's defense posture..now you gotta understand this snake was cold and when they feel cold they feel vulnerable to predators. They also can't move as quickly as the cold restricts their movements as you'll see by it's strikes. ... I didn't want to stress it out too much but after half an hour I was able to remove it from this cold set of loovers which it was wrapped around. I then quickly put it in the sun to give it some warmth, even though snakes and all reptiles are ectotherms they still need the warmth to help digest food or simply move around. It was a great talking point for the principal and teachers and parents that were dropping their children off... so remember as it gets colder these cute guys will still be seen around plus their cousins the venomous species as reptiles don't hibernate, they brumate which is a semi state of hibernation. As far as myself quitting as it's going onto 16 years and no venomous bites... well i've tried multiple times but people say but you're so good at it...you may as well keep doing it...so after a bit of a break...we're back 24/7 ...enjoy the video and share around...Christian

12.01.2022 Hi everyone hope you're all safe during this virus outbreak... Now we're entering the cooler months our scaley friends will be looking for places to hide...places like inside garages, houses and roofs for a few examples. So please still stay alert contrary to alot of people's beliefs they think reptiles hibernate. This is untrue they brumate which is a semi state of hibernation, so on a sunny winter's morning you may find snakes and other reptiles basking in the sunlight. Th...ey're just less active so yes they're still around. Here's a job we did just yesterday after a lady had seen a snake under this pond liner as you'll see what I found wasn't a snake at all but a cute verreaux's skink aka a three clawed worm skink...so basically a legless lizard. If we're available we'll attend to your slithering problems...number to call 0435736924

12.01.2022 "SPRING TIME" No easier way of saying this...but I'm back..check out this gorgeous specimen...the Eastern brown snake , usually known for their nervous disposition which lots of people get confused, for them being aggressive. No snake is aggressive , a venomous snake is only dangerous once you interact with it, if left alone you're in no immediate danger. This cutie fell into an empty pool and couldn't get it's way back out, sometimes you don't need to put a hand on the snak...e as I demonstrated here. I knew there was no way for this snake to escape so therefore there was no reason for me to put myself in a position to possibly get bitten...just to look good. As I explained to the clients this would have been a much different story had the snake been in a confined area and then if I thought there was no other way I'd then tail it. So if I'm available and not working I'll be able to help you out...0435736924...

11.01.2022 Kate and the kids and I enjoyed a lovely roadtrip up to Biggeden yesterday. Yes it was my birthday. On one of our stops at a local servo, this cute little guy captured my eye so it was great to be able to show the kids and educate them on this too cute baby gecko... I'm pretty sure just an Asian house variety but none the less still damn cute... still available for calls...lots have been happening in my life...been a roller coaster so haven't quit for good...sorry not sorry to all the haters out there

11.01.2022 Must be time for another id challenge... ok start guessing

10.01.2022 (Warning video contains coarse language) Hi everyone, Just a quick post to apologise to our loyal customers and the genuine ones in need of our help. This helped endorse the notion to quit.... Do you remember the post about the deceased dog under the house? Christian had to retrieve it out for the owners. Not only did the owners promise to pay the following pay day, they haven’t paid and now have blocked his number. Silly people who try to shirk payments (like an entertainment centre in Kingaroy for example) make these decisions easy for us not to go out of our way to help. We apologise in advance to the genuine people we now class as friends. Also including a video of voice message of when we miss a phone call.

04.01.2022 "Little Cutie" Disclosure... my gf was correct with her id over the phone but it was a vague description...that said well done Kate...again Captioned this one little cutie for a reason...I mean just look at it. Even though the Bandy Bandy it's still venomous and an elapid (front fanged venomous snake).Their bite isn't considered to be life threatening and that's even if you're unlucky enough to be bitten by one , as they're so uninclined to bite. They'd much rather use a ...classic defensive posture where they raise parts of their body in the air and throw hoops. They do this for two reasons...1 is it confuses their prey by seeing a fusion of black and white flickering, and it has a hypnotic effect on their prey which are usually blind snakes or sleeping lizards. This species is a nocturnal snake that usually lives underground, but often can be encountered on rainy nights. The second reason it confuses the predator enough for the snake to make a quick escape often still throwing hoops as it escapes...lol I guess that's how the myth came about ...hoop snakes lol where it was thought the snake bit it's own tail to form a hoola hoop and roll away...so there you go...hopefully some cool education regarding these special lil guys...treat all snakes with respect and remember be kind to all animals even including our scaley friends...Christian

03.01.2022 You may recognise a certain snake catcher here

03.01.2022 For something different and to keep this page active...share with us your most embarrassing snake encounter, whether it maybe when you were on the toilet lol...anything... My most embarrassing one...ok there's a few but one that stands out from the others.... I received a call regarding a python that ate a chook... when I arrived I jumped out of the car and hit the ground running, what I failed to see was however a low clothesline so I coathangered myself...when I picked myself up off the ground I was greeted by laughter echoing from my car with my eldest daughter at that time being with mum, being 4 yelling "DO IT AGAIN DADDY! ... obviously I didn't take her up on that...lots more funny stories though...so why not give it a go....let's share some laughter...Christian
