22.01.2022 { YEAR 12s } This one is for you!!! Today marks the day you receive your 12 results, signifying the end of a milestone and the beginning of the next. This p...eriod can be both stressful and exciting as you make plans for life after Year 12. It is important to remember that the marks that you received today do not define who you are, and that things have a funny way of working themselves out. Life takes you in so many different and interesting directions, and regardless of Year 12 results, there are still many, many years, and opportunities after Year 12! 20.01.2022 Come along this Sunday and help get the grounds looking beautiful for spring. BYO gardening gloves and pruners. Many hands make light work. Get the kids involved, grandparents, uncles, aunts, community members. Lets take pride in our school grounds and make the most of a beautiful Sunday.

19.01.2022 Its that time of year again!!! P&F have been invited to cater this years Senior Citizens Christmas Luncheon. This is our major fundraiser for the year and all proceeds go directly to our school.... Our committee would appreciate any help from the school community to help make this event as successful as it has been in previous years. Below are two ways that P&F would greatly appreciate your assistance.

17.01.2022 P&F will be running their biscuit roster again in Term 2 (all approved through the school). Thank you so much to the following volunteers for putting your hands up to be on roster this term. Thank you to Cowell Swimming Club, Cowell Inter-Church Council and Cowell Area School for lending the equipment such as tables and power cords. Thank you to Erin and Blue King for lending their shade. Thank you to KJ Kovac who went around at the end of the day selling the extra cakes. Thank you to Scotty Williams for helping with our set up. We look forward to see you all next year for another Sports Day.

13.01.2022 Cowell Area School Parents and Friends would like to thank the following people for volunteering their time to make biscuits, cakes and slices for our staff in Terms 1, 2 and 3. This is a small fundraiser that we do every year and our staff often comment on the wonderful treats they are supplied. So a BIG thank you to:... 12.01.2022 EDIT: There has been a few enquiries about whether this fundraiser can/will go ahead. Yes, we have permission for our biscuit roster to go ahead as long as all health requirements are adhered to (which should be in place regardless). No children access these biscuits as they are for our staff and it remains in the staff room. Please ensure you adhered to all OHS requirements if you are volunteering and again, a big thank you to all our volunteers. We can't do this without you. We are after 4 people to complete our Term 2 Biscuit Roster!!! Thank you Jackie Harding, Keo Doyle, Claire Barber, Kyla Franklin, Kristian Iversen and Shaana Williams who have already volunteered to be on Term 2 Biscuit Roster!!

11.01.2022 Another one of our beautiful desserts - Rich Chocolate Brownie Trees for Senior Citizens Christmas Luncheon!!!! Not long to the big event... Our committee is busy finalising all the yummy food. Turkey with all the trimmings and delicious desserts. All monetary donations go towards the cost for catering this event and all proceeds go directly to our school. ... All donations will be receipted.

09.01.2022 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED P&F are after some volunteers for our biscuit roster. This fundraiser runs throughout Terms 1, 2 and 3. Each week someone makes or bakes 3 to 4 dozen biscuits, slices or whatever sweet you want and our lovely school staff purchase them at .50c to $1 each (depending on what is made). If you can volunteer your time for a week, please let Erin know on either this post or by contacting her directly. Once Term 1's roster is filled, it will be posted so volunteers... know when they are rostered. Also, reminders can also be done closer to your week. Thank you for supporting our school.

P&F will be running their Coffee and Cake Stall again and are looking for volunteers to help for an hour or so. We only need 1-2 volunteers per timeslot. 05.01.2022 Another successful Christmas Luncheon completed!! Our final dessert was brandy snaps made by Mrs Crabb. A big thank you to all our Parents and Friends who helped with the preparations for this event (today, yesterday and in the lead up):... 03.01.2022 JOLLY SOLES FUNDRAISER We all need socks!! But do you have patterned socks? Adult and kid sizes available.... Each pair of socks are $10 each. Socks can be purchased from any of our committee members or at Cowell School Community Library. This fundraiser is to help purchase much needed equipment for our Home Economics Room. Ms B needs a new washing machine and dryer.
